I am just relieved YRC Freight is out of business and you use someone else to ship units. Hopefully no more crushed/mangled bikes. Nice stuff btw...way better than the SH days.

And yeah YRC  and UPS supply chain solutions both  dinged and lost a few over the years.

 And yrc never once payed out on the insurance even after admitting they lost units.

It was fully insured and they simply  woukd day yes we lost it,take it to arbitration. Riduculous.

We shipped thousands of units though ,so eventually there are bound to be an issue or 3.

 

Overall it was half a dozen incidents so while its a mess when it occurs, it was rare.

So far havn't had any issue with our current shipper.

Silly question, I know, but... can't something be done with that ugly hole right in the middle of the bike, where the CRF intake usually sits? A well needed tank extention/ additional tank would seem like a good idea to me, for instance.

Reality is far more people like it than hate it. Makes the bike look light in thier perception.

Sure a small tank could be added, or a simple piece of abs popped in there on each side .( or foam)

 Since this frame generation came out  noones sctually complained about that being ugly.lol

Likely as you can see thru plenry of areas around the engine.

But sure i can see how some might not like it,its a very very easy fix ,if its offensive Wink

Like you mentioned, there are many  possibilities to use the area fur z tool.pouch,extr fuel,or  easy fixes to cover it  that would look stock

Naturally mine was one of the mangled crates in '14...(cheyenne,wyo)...losers in Denver did it more than likely. Anyway, rad to see you building completes with more tricks parts than ever.

In some of your pictures, the red looks period-correct (orange,) but in most shots it looks like modern Honda red. Am I just seeing things, or do you have '80s Honda red available?

The plastics are stock honda.

However the frame amd graphics are very close to.theold hibda orangy red.

Reality is,the reds are not nearly as far apart as it seems,so the bike can look very old orange/redish.
