Good interview on Racer X, maybe some of the same stuff that is on DMXS?

Classic ...
Cox, .... Well, you would’ve been one-handed, so that’s not exactly an easy fight to fight someone one-handed...
Reed, .... Well, I had one hand, and he had his helmet on, so I think it would’ve been a pretty fair fight... No, I had him...

I did find it a bit contradictory on DMXS he said he looks at every weekend as a new beginning; then five minutes later he was talking about how he and James have a history.

He and James do have a history.

Would you rather him pretend that they didn't.

Reed's quote

"and a lot of what I dealt with in the outdoors last year was unfortunately coming up again, and I didn’t feel like I was putting my best foot forward, so this gives me a great time where I can step away and get healthy and come back and get 100-percent physically fit"

how in the hell can you sign a factory contract for big bucks with Kawasaki and come in less then 100%. They need to fire his ass and double there contingency with the money.

He was able to win an outdoor title and come in a very close second last year in the sx class with his condition. I would assume he thought he could continue to work on his health issues and do the same this year.

Pretty stoopid right there... He's still won as is with it... Do you think it would be better to have 5 kawasakis not making the mains than the publicity they get with a top rider?!?!?!

Yup, I doubt Stewart went to the Kawi pits looking for Reed because of the main event crash that night.

the better question Crush, that most of the idiots in here miss... these guys (racers, factory riders) are almost never at 100% and are always dinged and banged up...

and neysbo, i can think of more than 5 riders that have signed contracts when they couldnt even walk.. you sign because you know that 12 weeks later, you will be walking and riding again. happens every single year.

hey S-panker, you comment on every Reed thread, you read the interview on RacerX and commented there, you probably visit Reed's website, too. You're really focused on the guy.
I think you've got a love/hate, man-crush thing going on. Kind of stalker-like.

Would probably resemble two goalies fighting at a hockey game.

Same premise, they should go hard during the race and then go back to their respective pits no matter what happens on the track. Everyone would be better off, and the respect level would be much higher than it is today.

Once Reed gets healthy, Stewart needs to get onto a 2-stroke, let Reed pass him and then blow his doors off yet again. Reed is a chump, he has nothing for #7 and never has, and he needs to be reminded who the fastest rider on the planet is.

Stewart says lucky he couldn't find Reed, Reed says he was disappointed he wasn't there to be found, funny stuff.

Certainly a shame Reed's out, could have been fireworks all season long.

Post a reply to: 22 min, 22 sec with Reed...
