He's deleted almost 2 pages worth of weirdo posts just in this thread alone (does it on other threads too).

The last thing I deleted of significance was the Danger video when he kicked his bike. I got called inhuman for posting it even though it was posted everywhere. I caught a ton of shit for doing it so your not going to see that happen again regardless of what you insist.

Not sure if this got posted yet but vlog of Evans riding the Stark for a couple of days…

https://youtu.be/DWshuSE99IY?si=oVBgK5Gn2pXe3xGo

I’d imagine freeride guys could use all the advantages of a quiet bike when they do those street gaps etc.

Would love to see Raha on this thing.

Looks great and those Ca hardpack tracks are made for Stark.

Ordered a stark in March, received an email that it is ready for production this morning. Originally stated for Oct of 2024. I am not sure if I will go through with the order now.

Because it’s going to available almost a year sooner?

Yes and not legal for any ama vet class racing as of yet. Was planning at least another season on my gas gas 300.

I'm waiting to see if more orders get bumped up but it's been estimated delivery (Europe) around 11 months for new orders for a couple of months.

So now yours would be around 9 months which is consistent with Stark's latest update stating they're adding a third shift, so about 50% increase in production rate.

They've made +520 Vargs in October so for the past couple of months they've been on course for producing over 6 000 bikes a year.

Now if you're a bit optimistic, if their 3rd shift works as expected, not let down by logistics or whatever, but also without counting on another assembly line that may be in the works, that means they should be on course for about 9 000 - 10 000 bikes in 2024. Which is crazy in its own right, I mean they've already delivered more Vargs than total Alta production, and if they do reach such numbers next year that would put Stark Varg production in the same ballpark than OEMs 450s which is nuts, especially in such a short time frame.

Once all preorders will have been delivered, I'll guess at some point in 2024, it will be as easy to buy a Stark as any other bike from your local dealership. Actually it could probably be easier than some major OEMs experiencing issues right now.

Wait and see but it's all good news so far (except it might be too early for some customers).

Quite strange considering I ordered Dec of 21 and my build continues to be pushed back, even after they contacted me to confirm my order in July.

That's strange.  There have been Varg's delivered to Ca. So I wouldn't think it was the regulation/paperwork issues that they are having in other states. Unless something has changed. Do they give you a reason for the continued pushing back of the delivery?

I still have not heard from my customer who had an ETA of August again. But he could have gone to somebody else for his stuff. I will have to reach out to him and see if he got his yet or what they have said to him. I think he lives in MA.  might be RI. I've heard of some Varg's being delivered to a dealer in NH. Ma has some dumb laws for dirt bikes and off road vehicles compared to the other states around us.

if a crap ton of depositors decide not to go thru with purchase when they get their notice of production, orders will get moved up quickly.

You  haven't been paying attention. Abandoned orders are reallocated to dealers. That's already been confirmed.

I imagine many will get abandoned when they get the call. $100 people who ride likely have.  $14,000 not so much.

If anyone wants a Stark, I received the notification today it is ready to build and will ship to a dealer in Utah in 6-8 weeks.  After the total with tax, I will accept a $1500 premium.  I can just cancel the order, but in case someone wants one faster we can make that happen

Why would anybody do that when they can walk into a dealer, take your place in line for retail and not have to worry about Stark being unable to deliver DTC?

They only take my place in line if I give up the bike.

Genuine question, what point are you trying to prove?

Do you even know anymore?

Thanks,  but I will have to decline your kind offer of a $1500 premium.

I wonder how many of the supposed 18k pre-ordered bikes, are people who don't actually want a Stark, but thought there was a profit to be be made on flipping them straight away ?

Or maybe some people put the $100 down thinking that they could sell their spot ?

I doubt its a very large number. But who knows. If the bike holds up to be as good as people say it is, they will sell .  Even if they only sell 10K per year its still double what they first thought it would be. And when they are in dealers, and anybody can walk in and get on a payment plan and walk out with one that day, I bet they sell well.

I think that if people were willing to part with $100 , they will find people willing to sign up to finance a bike when its able to be more of an impulse buy and You do not have 2 years to think about if you really want it or not. I think that had they been able to deliver right away , less people would back out. A lot can change in 2 years.

Received this from our local ama mx coordinator. I'm guessing this goes for all disciplines. I'm not sure I want a varg if I cannot race locally.

Tom, I talked with AMA today and per them electric big bikes will not be allowed to race against gas bikes. They are working on writing the bulletin now.. Best Regards, Kreg Bigelow D14 Motocross Chairman

I raced my Alta in AMA/PAMX and outlaw vet classes anyhow. My slow ass never got protested, but I could see faster guys possibly getting protested by man-Karens.
