SXGP = 4 Round Series during off season.

On a serious note, I do think arenacross should totally do its series in the off season.

Holy crap now that Ive seen the Abu Dhabi track  I dont think I can try to stick up for this series anymore. I was looking forward to watching some racing again this weekend but that track is suuuch a joke I have no interest in watching. Even if nobody showed up at the very minimum they should be putting a quality track/venue on tv to watch, but this is just a joke. Damn man… This was supposed to be the new and improved wsx after the other misfires, but its bad. Idk what else to say, Ill prob check out some highlights but this is just sad.

Well the calendar is shrinking, the stadiums are shrinking, the track is shrinking, the race format is shrinking... maybe WSX will end up disappearing altogether?

I really don’t understand the people rooting for its failure. Bringing supercross to the world is a great idea.

The biggest problem with Americans, is that they can’t see past our borders.

There is already people bringing SX to the world without trying to step on the toes of the 50+ year strong SX/MX schedule. I have no doubt that if WSX got their way, the best teams, and therefore the best riders would be racing SX all year round, and I have a big issue with that. So I am quite happy to see it not go to plan.

This isn't a American problem, this is the countries who were getting a race and then not enough fans to run it. I guess the riders will just have to come and run the SX series. I really wanted the WSX to succeed but it looks like it doesn't have the fan base to get much better. Not sure why the French round never happened but I thought the French were big fans of SX racing. Blush

Americans don't like to be misled....no problem with the series now that they are not openly trying to compete with our outdoor series....but every race that happens shows that Adam Bailey bit off way more than he can chew...

I have to say that the racing was actually pretty good. I was entertained from the first gate drop right to the end. It looked like it was going to be a clown show due to the track, but the track actually made it so everyone had to be willing to pass anywhere they could, and it turned the night show into a knock down drag out fight. This was actually probably one of the best wsx races so far. Not bad. For some off season racing Ill definitely take it. Cant wait for Australia next!

It's a mockery of the sport.     SX is already turning into a circus show enough....but wSX has pushed the throttle to the stops on stupidity.    It's clear what they are after and it isn't in the interest of the sport.

Can't wait to see it die.

I was entertained too - by the 450s, and for the first time watching WSX.

Entertained WWE style.

It's still a clown show, maybe more than ever.

A lot of people are invested in WSX both financially and emotionally so your throw away comment is crap 💩 same goes for everyone else crapping on the series. Miserable comments say more about the person making them than the series itself. I hope WSX is here to stay!!!!

Well, Paris SX is way better.

And so is the french SX tour, actually.

So I guess I'm not the only one who watched WSX on Twitch or YT and thought "Man, I'm sure not gonna pay to go and see this"...

Just my two cents.

Oh bullshit. Lots of us can - 10 years living in Europe for me. This "world championship" has been a shit show since day 1. It was destined to fail - no one needed to "root" for that. IF they run it as an alternate during AMA downtime, it has a chance. Smaller series, bigger venues, big $$$, and real tracks and it can be done. I'm not "rooting for it to fail" but I'm also not wasting time and $$$ on a third rate production.

A "lot"? All 3 of you? I think we understand this just fine. It's not comparable to AMA SX in any way, more like a cut-rate AX series. The real issues are trying to run a series like this on a global scale in a small, niche sport; and paying big bucks therefor charging big ticket prices. Unsustainable business model.

So you would rather WSX didn’t exist? The racers making good coin and extending their careers don’t agree and neither do us fans who enjoy any kind of Moto. I am tired of the opinionated negative comments. Get a life 🙄

Mockery, lol. It’s a production, just like a concert is a production, just like American sx is a production. Their interest is to succeed, how is that hurting the sport?

I can tell by your call sign that you probably hate 4 strokes, and e-bikes, and think the tracks were way tougher back in your day. Sorry champ, there is a thing called evolution, you can’t stop it, the sport is evolving.

Paris is a great show, not sure why France can only do one successful SX race a year, I thought the French were fans. Blush No wonder why so many of the best French riders come to the US to make their money.

That was the smallest gayest track I think I’ve ever seen. And how… My God HOW has Vince not changed at all, especially after being blasted in the skull several times by Weston. Boggles my mind he just continues to be dirty, but once the helmet comes off he acts all innocent. He’s like Alessi out there riding around in front trying to keep everyone behind him at all costs, which makes nothing more perfect than him actually being on the Alessi team Moto concepts.
