it's his off track behavior that should get his butt fined and or suspended. There's no excuse for what he did at the Kawi rig. The AMA should come down on him like a ton of bricks, as should Kawasaki.

If what Reed allegedley did to Bubba warranted a trip to the Kawi rig to knock Chad's bike off the stand and beat him up, then Kyle P. ought to have the right to run over the #7 bike with an 18 wheeler and give James an azz whoopin of biblical porportion.

I dont understand how the AMA was going to fine Reed $5000 and a one race suspension for slapping James' helmet, yet James himself admits going over looking for Chad to confront him and ends up pushing his bike over??........and the AMA doesnt do anything because its his first offense. Wasnt he warned in the past over the Preston and Tedesco incidents? How is this is first offense? Wouldnt that have been Reed's first offense? If so, why wasnt he just given a warning? I just dont get it.

Apparently he thinks he's God himself by the way he plays with the other riders lives on the track. I dont care how fast he is, one of these days he is really going to mess someone up BAD.

If you guys really think that the color of his skin has ANYTHING to do with it then you should really think again!!!! It is ALL because of his status in the sport and the championship hunt. If Stewart was a mid-packer then all of this would be a different story, just like when RC got all his points back during the fuel issue in 06. It is an "ENTERTAINMENT" business, and the AMA and Feld know that if the "top draw" rider is penalized points or races over something that was NOT caught on camera then the average consumer of SX (read, NON rider) would spend those dollars on a FMX ticket or Monster Truck ticket.
You all know the reason that Reed was at first penalized is because LB likely threw a fit to the officials, once the tape was reviewed it was overturned.

As far as everyone else goes, it amazes me that when JS7 is smoking everyone then all is good, but when he is having some bad races then he is "over" and everyone wants him out. Like him or not, fan or not, if he were NOT there some of you would have nothing to talk about.
I do not think what happened in the pits was right, nor do I condone it. But, I think that when riders put in all the hard work and have a serious passion for what they do, tempers can get out of hand. This kind of stuff happens much more often than we ever hear about, but because it involved Stewart and Reed it is front page Motonews.

I agree with you that this is the more likely issue as to why he gets a slap on the wrist....but seriously.......is it going to take him severly injuring someone....or worse for the AMA or whoever to step up and address the issue of him being a little to reckless?
