Reed-JBS crash: Reeds fault

Chad Reed fan or not, that was a racing incident. Stewart needs to realize that there are other people on the track. Gotta love how he was walking and looking right into the camera after his heat race crash. I definitely lost respect for the guy after what he did in the kawi pits...

Reed could have stuffed Stewart multiple times before that if he intended too. I wonder what Whip is smoking in Texas for that comment to come out? That was a racing incident all the way. Stewart is one tuff dude to get up and keep racing for sure.

Apparently JS is the only one allowed to cross over other riders lines. The heat race he crossed under that Kawi rider and the result was a gnarly crash. JS hits KW in the same corner that he and Reed crashed in, only when JS takes another riders line and there is contact is it OK. Sorry don't believe it!!

Well, Reed finished the race hiding in the truck with two DNFs and a broken hand and Stewart finished the race with one win and one 15th and he can presumably continue in the series. That sounds like justice to me.

some people are just being very bitter about this...^ they were racing, Reed went for the same line he did the last lap to try and block pass stewart, but stewart was forced to cut in. It was nowhere even close to a take out, Reed never had time to turn, he wasnt even close to the berm yet

Four riders coming into the corner. Three come into the corner on the outside. The first rider (Millsaps?) takes the outside, but squares off the corner just a bit, causing the 2nd rider (Brayton?) to square even harder. The 3rd rider (JS) has to turn really hard to avoid Brayton. Reed comes through the whoops on the inside, not following, putting himself in position for the standard 180 pass if JS has trouble in the whoops. He comes into the corner, and there is Stewart, headed almost at him. Reed did a hell of a job to even come close to avoiding JS, which he obviously tried to do.

Nobody's fault, a classic chain reaction crash. Nothing wrong with Reed smacking JS if his hand was getting crushed, I'd have done the same.

i think that the sx only deal has not been good for james, as the racer that he was........
i mean......6 months vacation can not be good for a top level athelete.........than there was all that tv and superstar stuff to get him off focus for a while............
he knows hes the fastest....everybody knows that........the problem is that since he came back racing again.....he is riding tight, not that same old bubba style, usopen was too early for everybody, bercy he had to quit, than he cancelled the rest of pre season races......i really had my dougths iff he was ready for amasx........he has to be 100% to be the fastest.....!!!!!!!!! and at his level that is very hard work and an very restric livestyle, that i think he didnt really do for a while on that 6 months vacation..............
i think he has the means to turn this arround and fight for the champoinship .......but he has to get down to earth and be human again.......
for me it is a good thing that we mx fans might get to have the old james bubba stuwart back to racing .........
