Doma exhaust 1996

Did anyone run a doma exhaust back in the day when they first came out in 1995-96, I would love to see a photo of an original silencer to see if they were a stinger pipe or not.

I believe they always had end caps.  In fact when end caps first showed up in the mid/late 90s they were a euro thing….called a euro style end cap or FIM approved silencer.  I don’t know the exact family tree,  but there is supposed to be some relationship from the  80s Belgian Sletchen/SPES exhaust company to Doma and also the new JSV company.

I found a NOS Doma pipe for my 94 KTM 250 but went with a PC silencer with the sticker removed

I believe SLECHTEN became SPES which in turn went to DOMA. Ran a SPES on my KX500 back in the day. Still have it to this day with a shortened silencer and I believe they call it a euro style end cap.

Yes and now it's JSV, Slechten/SPES was the grandfather, Doma was the son and JSV is the Grandson I believe.

Or is it PPS??? Pretty sure that is one of the sons of Pierre Slegers. And I’d agree that JSV is probably a grandson.
Damn I’m not from that side of the pond, so maybe someone else could help with the family tree. lol. But seriously this is a family that has passed down some great knowledge and skills.

The JSV dude was at Farleigh one year, and I was talking to him and he was really young so I asked where he learned to build pipes and he told me that his Dad and Grandfather thought him and explained who they were.

PPS and JSV are actually cousins haha— Lineage stated above is what they both explained to me as well; generational artisans for sure. they’re competing businesses (even DOMA), but they lend each other a hand when they need to speed up production from what I’ve heard. Wanna say DOMA is still family owned, but the fabrication is contracted out. Either way, cool Fuckin dudes, exemplary pipes. IMG 4118 2

I was under the impression that Pierre was the originator. Then you had DOMA which is Dominique, the son. Pierrot, another son which runs PPS. And then a grandson, Jens at JSV.
