Hey all, have any of you came across this type of discoloration on your fork tubes? It almost looks like someone sprayed some chemicals on them and never rinsed it off?? Also should I be concerned on the major discoloration around the triple clamps?
I have scrubbed them and after they dry they still look the same.
Certain soaps will fade the anodizing. Simple Green can do that. I know of a few other soaps that do that as well.
Any recommendations on how to get them back to new look?

Re Anodize
Your bike looks like one of those from the Limegate SX debacle a few years ago. Likely cause is a acidic agent from the dirt. not much you can do but like OP said re-anodize.
They'll need replacing @CrGuy2T has some for sale...

Thanks, but definitely not replacing.
ive seen people cerakote the upper tubes.
Looks pretty normal for a 2004 bike. It's usually just a combination of the anodizing wearing of and roost marks. Throw some fork decals on there and call it a day.
Somewhere down the line when they're apart for a rebuild you might find someone locally that can reanodize them, but I wouldn't worry too much about it.
