Has anyone seen him ride lately? How is he looking?

I think he was injured for a little bit after LL's and took some time off the bike.
Not completely sure but I seem to remember reading that.

I know when we saw him at LL's he was hauling ass.

Good question. I know that at Winter Olympics last year he skipped SX and just did MX.

I looked for his name in round 1 of the Winter Series and didn't see it. He showed up for round 2, though.

Dunno about now, but he definitely was looking good a while ago.

Off topic but....

I that first video with James Sr., there some severe unprofessionalism displayed there that seems to run rampant in this sport. Anybody else notice it?

Of course because if that happens, your career is automatically extended as well.

Just thinking if I was a rep from Answer, Bell or Factory Effex, I wouldn't be too thrilled.

Malcolm Stewart when focused and wanting to ride, would probably be the only one who could take it to James.

It's probably going to seem nit-picky to some but Mr. Stewart is wearing a lanyard with a logo on it from a company that doesn't sponsor the team his son rides for. One competes with Answer (gear), Bell (helmets) and Factory Effex (graphics).

It just seems to me, at this level, people should support the companies that support their team. It would be like Ryan Dungey being seen wearing a DeWalt hat or Jake Weimer in an FMF t-shirt. It doesn't come off as professional and if I were paying the big bucks like some of these companies are, I'd be pissed off about it.

Just my .02.

If you notice he isn't running any of the teams logos. Big James doesn't pimp for anyone but JSE and Nike.

Big James isn't under contract with anybody is he?

That's a bit of a stretch. Sure Malcolm has speed and talent but he doesn't take it to the A class at amateur nationals.

What about that A grade bullshit about James always being on inferior equipment until this year?
