Baker passed Miller for second. Kobush still in the lead with an 8 second gap

This race use to get crazy turnouts. Wonder why it’s low turnout this year.

They changed the format this year. Last year and years prior when I attended your first motos were on Saturday and second motos on Sunday and the pros were mixed in. This year they had a Friday Night race (thats standard) and a standalone race Saturday. Pros and all star classes were today. We raced Fri and Sat and are back home today. Mixed feelings, love not having to drive late Sunday, but hate didnt get to see the pro race. Wondering if schedule change hurt the turnout. Also Ponca National starts next week 🤷

Years ago this was the standard format. The pro class ran on Sunday, 4 motos. The turn out back then was huge with riders and fans. Format change isn’t the issue.

Cool to see the B riders Allen, Prouty, Bone and Neeley make the move to the A class.

Also cool to see Vet Pro and Texas track builder extraordinaire VMac mixing it up with the kids. Nice work on the dozier too with the track changes, VMac!

Dang,  very light turnout.  Had a ProAm in Illinois to this weekend and light turnout as well for Pro classes.

Turnout is way down. Pro riders and spectators alike. Not sure why. It's hot, freaking summer won't give it up down here. I usually race the vet classes but wasn't able to this year. Prices went up with the new owners here, but they Have been pouring money into this place so I can't really blame them. Maybe the higher prices kept some people away.

It may not be as hot as it has been, but I started today in Washington going across a mountain pass and it was 33 degrees when I stopped for a few minutes at 3AM. Just a few hours later landed in Dallas and the rental car read 95 degrees all the way to the hotel. Felt like it was 20 degrees hotter than that!

Baker lost his muffler in 250 Moto 1. Then had mechanical dnf's in 450 moto 1 and 250 Moto 2. Ugh

Oldenburg looked pretty beat up after that first moto. Surprised he lined up again.

On the podium after moto 2 he said that he had a bad charley horse in his leg in moto 1 and he feared that it was something more serious.

Anyone know what happened with Lance Vincent?

I believe that he KO'd himself pretty good. I didn't see it but I heard that he went over the bars and got tackled by the bike exiting the rhythm section (high speed). They red flagged his moto. One of the guys I was with saw him awake and moving his extremities when he was at the ambulance. I pray that he's ok!

Well that sounds like good news if he was awake and everything moving.

This triple in was gnarly! Only a handful of guys did it.

Track prep was really deep in the corners but really flat on the straits and jumps. Definitely different

Lots of complaints at Swann during the Loretta qualifiers. Most said track was tilled to deep in the corners and the start. Probably new owners getting things squared away. Such a crappy economy its a wonder we have this many riders. As I get older the jumps seem to get bigger. Did I see Ty Davis? THE Ty Davis from Cali?

Brown is a legend!

Saturday the track prep was good imo, they didn't rip it too deep so the track wasn't one-lined and had options.
