Yea I was skeptical about the weird points system but it actually worked out perfect. The only change Id make is pay per moto but keep the double and triple points aspect. Cant wait to see what happens. This will be our first real good look at jett in top form on a supercross track on a 450. Should be interesting.

I’m looking forward to it too. I like how the points system is playing out. It’s definitely going to keep things interesting. The guys will definitely be going gold. Let’s go!

The points system was designed to work just like it did. Turned a 3 race series into a 1 race championship. The problem is most won’t understand the simple math and how it ruins the series. Nothing but a manufactured winner take all championship. 

Points system blows.... but the SMX racing has breathed new life into the sport.

I wouldn't say it breathed new life into the sport. It's just that we have 3 extra weeks of racing now instead of the season being over.

I'm treating it like a 3 race monster cup.

they're not even thinking about the money. gloves coming off tonight was a great title before I realized what motivation you assigned to it. a million is a lot but you cannot race at this level for that reason. the gloves are coming off for one reason only, and that's the glory of winning. period.

Kind of like to see someone punt Jett off the track..

I'm going to preface this... I like Jett. He's the future and anyone who denies this is absolutely blind. Moto 1 at Hangtown I knew the season was over for outdoors. He continued to amaze me throughout the series with what he does on the track.

...But, I'd like to see Chase and/or Ken give him the business tonight. I feel like the sport needs it, Chase needs it, Ken needs it... and Jett needs it.

I don't know if Kenny has it in him but I have a feeling that Chase will be willing to get aggressive with Jett if the situation is right for it. 

I think for the first year it was the right way to do it. It's not like anyone got a free pass to the final, they all had to show up at the first two rounds and ride well.

this is all about setting the tone for January. the million dollars is icing but I guarantee you it’s a far distant second on their mind for the guys fast enough to win this 

Who gives a fuck. We have a Sexton Lawrence Roczen and Deegan Shimoda sudden death race to the crown. Maybe it’s manufactured but if they are close to the end I can guarantee I’ll have my eyes glued to the screen. That’s good entertainment watching the fastest guys in the world.

I don’t know if gloves come off but has everyone’s hair on the side of their head come off? Even Jason W? Is there a barber on-site giving groip haircuts? Apologies if it’s been this way a while. I finally watched a race for the first time since last year. 

People really has to stop whit this hype shit. The riders now days DONT want to make enemies, all the top riders race classy and will continue to.
