And by the time you fix the suspension and get the engine to run properly you still spend $7000.00. Dry

The bids go as high as 5600.00 on ebay but the reserve is never met so bidders are willing to pay that plus shipping.. ebay charges 100.00 for the sale of cars and bikes plus like a 30.00 a listing so there he goes..

Better off buying a KX450F and adjusting its suspention.
You can get a left over 09 KX450F for the same price and it kicks the shit out of the POS honda.

i guess one way or another riders won't pay 8 grand for a normal MX bike?

just wait out a year, til there are a bunch of "left over" bikes in wharehouses.........guess the newest, latest, coolist machine don't matter much when people are struggling to keep a job, house and the electric and gas turned on.

I would bet there aren't going to be as many left overs in the future. Manufacturers lost to
much money with overstock in 08, 09 are only building to order now. If you check most
dealers now they only have a couple 2010 or none at all. We have one 2010 Honda CRF250 and no Yamaha's until our next allocation.

Kind of makes it tough when some of these super stores have 10 salesmen trying to sell one bike too.

I am placing my bets that Wardy is correct, as far as 08 and 09 mx units.

I'm selling mine with all the tricks and trinkets for $5,500. RG3 Suspension has it all fixed up in the handling department. The decompression pin update has been installed, and the bike has about 23 hours on it. The thing is still brand new! Anyone interested?

Really?

Enzo for $500 complete (As much as $800 w/ "low-kit" & spings).

Re-map for $100-$150 (You can get it for as little as $50 over at TT)

FMF pipe for $520 (S/S Power-S/S "Blue" RCT 4.1)

Total: $6070

It would STILL be less than $7K w/ Ti-Carbon FMF "Mega" (add $240) and ALL the Enzo goods(add $300) + a Graphics kit w/ Seat-Cover (add $150-$200)...which EVERYONE seems to "Need" around here...

And you have a BRAND-NEW scoot that's got the goods...

Why is everyone so negative about this shit? Do you guys EVER get laid?

'09 Honda 450s on "Blow-Out" are gonna be the Best "2010" bike for the money...yes, I said, "2010 Bike"...'cause that what it is...hell...it's BETTER than a 2010 after you go to Enzo and map/pipe it.

I'm jus' sayin'...

From what we've heard from the Team Honda factory riders is that the 09 CRF450 was the root of all their problems last year. If the factory team couldn't get them lined out with a different everything, the poor local guy doesn't stand a chance. LOL You'll need Prozac before it's over. Just ask Millsaps............Whistling

Everyone whines and complains about the suspension but I don't see what the big deal is. Seems like it's coming from a bunch of people who either haven't even ridden the bike or simply don't ride it fast enough. I'm on a shoe string budget so my '09 is still bone stock and in my opinion is a better bike than the '08 it replaced. I can turn this bike better and overall ride it faster.
