I feel I read or heard on a podcast that there will be a 2024.5 with electric start. I thought I read it on RacerX observations but could not find it. Is there any truth to this Also I know Matthes mentioned after Ken Raced his one outdoor and stalled. He spoke to I would assume Chris Wheeler that said they were gonna put e start on bike? Sorry for another Suzuki post just curious..

Keefer said 24 would be electric start but that was bad info he got. I think the 24.5 think was a joke but hopefully not.
No updates. Still the same since 08.
If true. Seems like they would need to shed some weight to a bike that is already the heaviest in it's class before adding more weight.
I'm not one of the "Suzuki bashers"... the RMZ is a solid bike, would love to see Suzuki throw some $$$$ at it.
Man im so damn tempted to do one up. Tell me im stupid.

The bike can still win races.... As long as the leader lets you by...
Most of its weight stock trim is the exhaust. But the engine casings in that thing are what’s heavy ultimately, and probably a little of the aluminum fuel tank. So swap out for a carbon tank, exhaust, hubs, hardware, seat foam, and I’m sure it is down 5-10lbs from stock. I vaguely remember hearing Reed mention it wasn’t the lightest but it road light and it was a good bike from his JGR Suzuki
Do it!
So a star yamaha cannot win by your logic, or a factory Kawi, right?
It was a joke... don't be so sensitive about the yellow dinosaur.
They are the most beautiful dinos around.
The sexiest ones aren't always the petite ones. Some people like a little meat on the bone.
I drool every time I see those JGR bikes.... absolutely gorgeous.
Yellow is the best dirt bike color of all time.
Thats just a RMX 450 motor,,no big deal,,,Have been out since 2017
I have seen a few RMX 450s for sale
Do it there awesome!
I swear the damn stock exhaust could double as a boat anchor. I don't think some understand exactly how big of a weight difference there is between the stock muffler and an even just an FMF 4.1 Stainless slip on.
Getting ready start with my new to me 2020!
I think it would be stupid to NOT do one up. I'm saying this because I am tempted to as well haha the yellow bikes look so dam good!
godddauumm, nice job on the build. Where are your graphics from?

Wait til Peanut M&M's chimes in. He has some connections to Suzuki Japan R&D. Last he posted was that Suzuki had hired an MX test rider but no news about a new bike.
Full hinson clutch and Pc springs best money you can spend on these huge difference.

She’s a beaut Clark
Don't even have to "do it up" to be a good bike. My 2014 is just as competitive as any bike out there. It is all stock except valving and a Yosh exhaust.
Ahhhh, been a while since the last rmz450 thread and I am sure no one has put their money where their mouth is in this time.
In all honesty, I had about 25 hours on the 17 I had last and I never once had an issue with the clutch. I'm also not a clutch abuser so that may have something to do with it
On the hot/crazy matrix they are in the upper right.
I already have two 'zooks
You know me Bruce. I am on team yellow!!!
Magoo, finally something we see eye to eye on.
