Why does Monster Energy Kawasaki (U.S.A) absolutely refuse to support the MXON? Year after year they refuse to let their team riders to participate, even Pro Circuit 250 riders. Why do they get a pass on this absolute injustice?

Is it just Kawasaki U.S.A. Management? Who? Why?

It ain’t Monster. Star Yamaha sends riders.

Star Yamaha isn’t sending riders either. If all this means so much to everyone there’s one thing to do. Stop buying Kawasaki’s and Yamaha’s in the USA. That’s the only way this will hurt them in any way. Show them what’s important to you and buy Honda or a KTM brand.
none of that will happen unfortunately. People will just buy what they wanna buy and continue to complain on the internet. 🤷‍♂️

Needs a new guy .

Looking on the bright side, it means that we wont have to trek to the US any time soon for the MXoN, if you dont come, you shouldnt host .

The fact that the MXGP season gets fucked about for 3 circus races, and then you still dont send a team... sums it all up

'World Champions of What'.     Indeed.

A big part of the reason that Kawi doesn't support the MXdN is because they don't want to work with Decoster.

It may not be the sole reason they don't go, but it is certainly part of it.

HEP Suzuki supports it, Star Yamaha sent Cooper & Eli to win last year, HRC supports it fully, Red Bull KTM supports it, Rockstar Husky supports it.

Only Monster Energy Kawasaki refuses, and has for many years.

I don’t think Kawi will work with DeCoster given that he is a KTM guy and in their eyes KTM screwed them out of a SX title in 2017

Bad enough where Kawasaki refused to use team USA communication and decided to use their own. The info is out there and has been talked about multiple times.

I don’t understand the dislike for Decoster from so many (not saying you Lung).  I understand his ties to the KTM group could be construed as a conflict of interest, but I just don’t see a worthy successor who doesn’t have a similar conflict.  I can think of a few managers that would be very good replacements, Tony Alessi, Lars Lindstrom, or Jeremy Coker are just a few that come Tom mind.  But there’s still that conflict with different manufactures.

It's not DeCoster.  The cost of the race simply makes no sense with regards to budget.  Not to mention this year they had SMX to dive back into and Kawi has a new bike to get ready for SX....which they actually get paid to do.  KMC (Kawi) pays the PC riders too, so that's why PC riders are in the same boat.

I would love for us to send a badass team every year, but if one of you ran one of these teams and at the end of the year you are expected to pull cash out of the sky it becomes a whole different story.

Star will send guys. They’re taking a bullet for their rider who was asked to go and said no so he doesn’t look bad.

Roger can’t even fill a team from one of his three brands he is in charge of. Time to move on.

Is this fact? If so, you should let DonM know. He's currently dying on a Deegan-shaped hill over on the other MXON thread.

Okay, is this the settled reason among the 'tards - that Kawasaki refuses to participate in the MXON because they think DeCoster screwed them out of the 2017 SX title when Marv 'let' Dungey 'bye'?

If this is the case: 1. It's very immature - what a bunch of babies. 2. Take responsibility for your rider's performance - Tomac screwed himself out of a title by his weirdo crashes and slow restarts - notably Rutherford NJ SX.  3. I realise Kawasaki USA is its own entity, but presumably Kawasaki Japan has sway over it?  If so, I also presume Japan also sees MXON as a positive marketing platform and should direct Kawi USA to pull its head in and stop being a bunch of whingers.

Agreed philG.  Any race series that has different points in each round to the degree of SMX is circus-like and suspect. Let's see if it even lasts if WSX folds.

When was this from zookrider?  Look at Racer X pussyfooting around the issue -  'appears to be some reluctance'.  If they know the real reason as they know doubt do (even 'tards seem to) why not state it?  Oh, I'll do it for them:

...and a refusal to work closely with Team USA Manage Roger De Coster because of Kawasaki's claim that Marvin Musguin let Ryan Dungey past during a SX race in 2017.  Kawasaki management believes this maneuver cost Eli Tomac the SX title that year.
