Can we watch the LCQs live? On Peacock it looks like RDL is off and the note show won't air until 2:30 EST.

The LCQs already happened.

Did Hubbard just say 16th in a race gets $31,000.  Where's he get that # from, isn't it like 1/10th of that?

Not sure if he misspoke or what, but I think he meant in the final SMX points . As in if the guy that is in 16th now, was able to finish 16th in the SMX points, he would get that much money.  I don't know what the per race money is , but normally yah, it is way less.

I just looked up the payout, and He might have just not seen the decimal point. 16th gets $3000.  if he was missing the decimal point he could have also  been looking at the 15th place money. Who knows how the info is printed up or displayed for them.

Sometimes the replay for Race Day Live is available before the motos , so You might be able to go back and fast forward through the practice to the end and watch the LCQ's. Try refreshing the page if its not showing a replay available yet. I just checked right now and it is not showing available yet  for me.

16th for the whole series gets 31k in 450 . That's what he meant.

5 perfect seasons? Huh?

Only thing I can think of is RC's regional sx title

Ricky won all 12 overalls in 2005, but he lost 2 motos, Is he counting that? i was wondering the same when i heard it. If thats what he's counting as perfect, which I don't, James only lost a single moto on a 125... can't remember if he lost that overall, i think he did, but if not, gotta count that too.. I wish he would of got it, having a perfect season in both classes would be sick. Other guys have won every race in the 125 regional series besides RC, so they obviously aren't counting that. I believe he either misspoke, or he saw 12/12 overalls in '05 and didn't dig any further, just assumed Ricky must of won every moto. Still though, even  winning 12 out of 12 in overalls but not every moto, it's only been done once outside of the 4  perfect seasons...it should have been perfect looking back. Maybe it needs its own category if you win all 12 but not every moto. The fact only the same 3 people have done it, to me shows just how hard it is and how prestigious it is to accomplish in its own right. Dungey got close to all 12 in 2010 and so did Kenny one year.

Will/did the track be prepped before races.  I ended up on the phone a couple of times and missed LCQ and amateurs etc.  I recall hearing RC or someone comment on track being prepped or not.  Just curious if the put a blade to it.  I felt like they should, but that’s just an old guys opinion, don’t think they knew.  Anybody know.  Thanks Billy

This is a different series

Time for today's school lesson.. a racing season is an entire year. A racing series is part of a year and 1 season can contain multiple series.

You said it's his rookie season, which it's not. It's also the first time any rider has ridden this series, so it's technically everyone's 'rookie series'.

Lesson over. I cant believe I had to explain this to a grown person that has watched this sport for multiple years.
