The issue is that it was one race. We've seen what happens to the guy during a whole season, he can't keep it together. Maybe the 450 makes him crash less? But that is unlikely.

I however agree that Geerts will be really fast on the 450. Definitely fast enough to score moto wins and maybe overalls too. But he wont get Yamaha a 450 title unless the top dogs all get hurt.

You're right that a one off race isn't the same as a whole season. And it's not that I believe that Geerts will get the title next season, but they said the same thing about Febvre when he moved up...

That is a good point.

Well, things have changed again. Sounds like we could lose a good team...

Source is very good on this, but I will make a call and confirm on Monday.

When you are trying to pull together a deal for 2024 and you are in the arsehole of nowhere racing in front of 1 man and his goat , who is gonna be excited to throw $$ at it .

So Gebben going from Fantic MXGP team to shutting down? Will Vlaanderen be without a ride?

I understand and it’s good you double check. At this point I don’t know what to believe anymore as it keeps changing by the day. If the rumours are true I have been hearing, this will be the biggest plot twist of the off-season Shocked

Vlaanderen will be good for sure, even if Gebben indeed folds. It’s a guy where teams will make room for, even if that means they need to add a sest for him. He should have signed tho, but not there you would expect him.

Vlaanderen signed for 2024, but not at Gebben

A new manufacturer that reels in Voster (got down voting for telling that strategy)... But it is pure logic if you ask me. He is a full time team manager (because he sold the majority part in Wilvo. Also the workplace is build that way it is also the powerplant of the Wilvo firm. That creates a nice money flow). Looking at it pure mx wise he has a workshop bigger than some upcoming manufacturers and deep pockets.

That crash in France was unfortunate. The one in Finland was just written bad luck Brian all over it. If that didnt’t happen he was probably riding with the red plate atm…

Seewer has complete control over all categories: Gear, helmet, goggles, boots, energy drink etc.

The first MXGP rider to have such power.

So pumped for Jeremy. That’s going to be a strong team for 2024.

Interesting. Do you know why he’s able to negotiate a deal like that?

That IXS gear he wore when he rode for Suzuki was the bollocks.

Lucas is a really good agent and Jeremy was in hot demand. Four manufacturers wanted him...

Jeremy was 100% the most sought after rider in the paddock.
