Trying to fit the 2022 Honda differential bore (24mm and 27mm pistons) front caliper onto my 18 Yamaha YZ 450 fork lug. The Honda runs a 260mm disc and the yamaha runs the 270mm disc. I cannot find a relocation bracket that will work with the Honda caliper and the yamaha fork lug. This is partially due to the fact that the slide pin spacing is off by 1mm from other nissin calipers due to the piston sizing. Get the slide pin spacing correct and the lug spacing is incorrect. Get the lug spacing correct and the slide pin spacing is incorrect. Anybody know which relocation will work for this application?

I don't believe any off-the-shelf brackets will work.
I went waaay faaaar down this path, worked with Scott at Motostuff to try to conquer this weirdo spacing on the new Honda calipers, and ultimately no dice, so I sold everything.
I ended up purchasing the Motostuff V2 caliper which is a copy of HRC's caliper using differential bore pistons, but made with standard spacing.
Luxon is going to make some caliper brackets for the Yamahas to enable you to run a Brembo caliper. I'm on that waiting list - you should consider that route, too.
On a cr250 '06 , i had to use a 280mm bracket crf and a 260mm brake disk with that crf caliper. Only way to get it work on the cr showa. Good luck with the puzzle.

FU2 brings up a great point I missed.
Scott at Motostuff stated a combination like this (04-14 280-mm bracket, 260-mm rotor) as an option, but I am so invested in 270-mm and 280-mm rotors that I didn't entertain that avenue - but it is valid.
A Honda 280 hanger will clear the Yamaha 270 rotor. I found that out when I was finding a bracket to work with the billet nissin. If it’s full pad engagement, I didn’t get that far.

Guys,
Thanks for your replies. It's odd that in an industry that produces so many hangers from so many companies and for so many bike models, that this particular combo is not available. For now I'll go with the Honda Master cylinder and the 2006 Yamaha caliper and if, or when a suitable bracket is produced, mount up the Honda caliper.
So not sure as I have yet to try but I am doing a works Nissan differential bore caliper on a newer YZ. I am pretty sure when I spoke to Scott at Motostuff, he stated a stock 19-23 CRF caliper bracket will bolt up to the fork lug and the caliper but I would need to find a 280 rotor due to the different angle the caliper sat at.
Good call - That 2019+ CRF 27/30 piston design with new spacing really throws a wrench into things for those of us swapping parts around! I'm sure your combo will be better than stock and an easier conversion. Also, good idea to throw some Motul 600 or equivalent quality fluid in the system as well while you're at it
Hey, so I think that’s the route I am going to go, I see in your bio that you’re in the same city as I am. Can I ask where you had the original lower slide pin hole welded? I am able to re drill and tap but my machine can’t do aluminum.
thanks
We were building an aluminum weld lathe for work so I used that welder. It’s at the customer now so I don’t have it anymore.
No worries, I will probably just stop over to Titan Motorsports and pay the $150 hrly rate and just have both brackets done at once.
I appreciate the response as I was just about to pull the trigger on a Honda bracket.
