Some of my friends mentioned that theaters are turning off the A/C to discourage viewers. That alone makes me want to see it even more. Wear light clothing and bring a blanket just in case they turn the A/C way down out of spite.

Is it true the move was sold to 20th century fox in 2018 and then Disney bought 20th century fox . After the sale Disney was like " nope" and put the movie on a shelf and said they won't distribute it. 

Looking at this objectively...and for the record, I'm an advocate for this movie:

1.) Theaters are not doing well these days.  I can't see them turning away money.    Take into consideration what happened with Bud Lite, does AMC want to play with that kind of fire.  

2.) Comments on social disease media are not actual proof that it was happening.    People do lie when if suits their views.

Maybe it did happen, who knows for sure with anything these days.

Thanks holyroller and Titan, I'll catch up with the movie at some point, I just jumped in to offer a different point of view.

My point is that even if the movie doesn't portray 1 group of people as responsible, the viewers are likely to use it to reinforce their already preconceived notions.

I saw the movie Saturday, so I feel qualified and justified to make the following comment.  This is as basic as a subject can get.  There is no fence straddling or “gray area” here.  You are either vehemently against child trafficking or you are not. If you say you are against it, then you should agree that anyone or any entity, be it organized crime, business, or government that is involved with the exploitation of children needs to be dealt with accordingly.  If you support any entity or person, whether corporate, civilian or political, that is involved directly or indirectly by suppressing, criticizing or downplaying the message of this film or is legislatively working to normalize any type of child exploitation by attempting to reduce penalties of offenders or lighten the definition of what a pedophile is, then you can’t really claim that you are against it.  For the record, I include any type of sexual grooming of children, such as targeting underage kids to question their gender identity, in this category.

Think about this the next time you spend your money or pick a political leader.

In response to these videos and likely others like them, AMC Theaters CEO Adam Aron shared to Twitter, “Really bizarre [Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt] floating around Twitter that we are suppressing attendance for Sound of Freedom. Yesterday we showed that movie 3,000 times at our 570 U.S. theatres and more than 100,000 people watched it at AMC Theaters.”

He added, “Misinformation on Twitter is astonishing. Bots? Haters?”

A day later he issued another tweet writing, “Let’s put this ridiculous conspiracy theory to bed. Fri/Sat more than 250,000 people watched Sound of Freedom at AMC in the U.S.”

He then quoted Angel Studios Head of Distribution writing, “Angel Studios Head of Distribution: ‘No other theater chain in the world has shown more support for Sound of Freedom and Angel Studios than AMC.'”

It's pretty damn clear that the political and Hollywood elite are crawling with pedophiles and it's really disturbing. Look at Creepy Joe Biden (the latest is weirdly nibbling on some terrified kid's back). These people are so evil they aren't even self-aware enough to conceal it. There is a state Senator here in California, Henry Stern, who was posting on Twitter that this is a Q movie and for the "tinfoil hat crowd."  His Dad happens to be a famous Hollywood actor (one of the bad guys in Home Alone). Together with the drag queens in school, aggressive trans policies etc. that these people are trying to make sexualization of kids mainstream. It's horrific. I'm starting to believe Pizzagate was actually real and spot on. Anybody that is against the spread of awareness of child sex trafficking (the same political party that advocates open borders where this shit is rampant) is part of the problem, if not directly involved themselves.

There was a big scandal during Bush 1's (not W) tenure involving kids in the White House for sex. The news clips are there if you look deep enough on Youtube. It was covered by mainstream news at the time. Then there was the Congressional page scandal in Congress a few decades back involving minors (men and boys). This stuff is unfortunately, nothing new. My sense is that people that have everything (including major politicians and their weird shit) they want the forbidden. It's depraved and hopefully will be exposed and shut down.

Wife and I watched it last night, very powerful movie. Really sick that there are actually people in this world who would do that to children. And it is based on a true story, not some "Q" conspiracy theory. That guy is a unknown hero, good to see he finally gets some credit for such incredible bravery.

And just FYI the theater was about 3/4 full for SOF for a 6pm showing on a Thursday.

Just for comparison I looked up the Barbie movie to see how many seats were available (assigned seating so you select your actual seat location) for the same night- Barbie movie was maybe 1/3 sold in each showing around the same time. To be fair they were showing Barbie in 2 different theaters but it is opening weekend for Barbie and SOF has been out a few weeks.

Good to see people are supporting SOF, sometimes it was hard to watch but it is a real problem. Could not even comprehend what it would feel like to have your child stolen and sold into sex slavery. Sick fucking people.

But..but..but they love us, they shut down the world and destroyed the economy and gave us untested medicine out of their pure hearts...
