At one point, it looked like he wanted Chase to go by him right there after the finish line.
Jett was doing only what he needed to do early on thinking it would be easy, but when Chase caught him clearly Jett was giving it all he had. Their fastest laps between Chase and Jett were nearly identical. They were +3 seconds a lap faster than the second group of riders battling 3-6 positions. IF Chase can start in front of Jett and keep it on 2 wheels the whole moto, he will win.
Had Meshy (the lapper) actually gotten the fuck out of the way like he was supposed to, we might have been able to see a pass for the lead, or push Jett harder. I haven't yelled at the TV that loud in a long time.

i agree that Jett slept in the first stage of the moto thinking that it would be a walk in the park. But he clearly had more in the tank when he needed it.
yes, the lapper got in the way but until that, Chas have had half the moto to pass Jett without being able to.

Forgive me as I haven’t really kept up with any Bench racing threads for MX this year and I know it’s already been talked about. I rarely complain about the TV broadcast but this weekend there seems to be like no organization in going back and forth with the booth/track reporter, and man Ricky is really fumbling today.
