Akrapovic Announces “Hats Off To James” Promo

Is this the lamest promo of all time. FMF and Pro Circuit are offering 20% off there 4 stroke exhaust and Akrapovic is offering a FREE HAT!!! YA. Come on guys what a waste of time. Let see some dollars drop on your product and ill buy a hat thanks.

They make some beautiful exhausts, to be honest with you, their prices would have to be cut more than in half for me to consider buying their products. Beautiful parts, it's still going on a dirt bike that will in 100% chances end up on the ground.

ya but you would get a FREE HAT!!! I swear the owner of the company must be the tightest wad ever. Who looks at that promo as a good idea. You think someone in the company would be like, ya a hat is cool but I think a discount might help sales more.

I have one of their pipes on my CRF450. It works incredibly well. The carbon bracket broke for it and I had to make my own, but the performance is top notch.

Im not saying anything agains there product, I think they have a great product. Im just pointing out how bad there promotional sale is. I would love to have a akrapovic exhaust and now that it comes with a free hat I think its a deal. A hat is a LAME LAME promotion is what im getting at.

Just because PC and FMF are having some sort of sale means Akrapovic has to have one also? Does the hat upset you that much?

I guess it really does. Do you think the cheap wads at akrapovic would even be doing this promo if PC and FMF didnt have one running.

Akrapovic is a top notch company, and they are anything but cheap. Why give away the cow when people are still buying the milk?

Absolutely correct. Akrapovic is gone past the MC market. They'll sell ya one for a bike if you want one, it's the foundation of their company. Just look through the "Foundry" section of their web page and click on the photo links. It's incredible. I know someone will say that it's the EU grants that allowed them to grow and that it's unfair, but lifes unfair sometimes. Just watch the video of the "Akrapovic" ride day (so to speak) at Monza and I'll have to give them props for their work.

I know most of you don't know much about Akrapovic, but they are by far is the highest quality of all the 4 stoke manufactures. They are on top in Europe, but not well known in America. America only knows Pro Circuit and FMF, but if you want an exhaust that will last and perform, you will try one. I have never used a better built exhaust system than Akrapovic.

Definetly. Best exhaust systems you can buy. I put a full Ti Evo system on my ZX10R street bike..and that one set me back $1900. Not cheap, but worth it.

to be honest hat or no hat 20% or no 20% discount the pipe companies wont get my money. my rmz 250 works fine the way it is. i dont want an $800 pipe and silencer that will get me a pony from 11200 to 11500 rpm.
