Yes, once. I can usually case it right at the top, but I've only fully cleared it one time. You need to carry so much momentum into it.

Ive done it a few times but only on the first or second lap. Its really not even that much faster because you have to go wide after.

I hope they have a "spode" class for the online game, I still can't break 1:00. Blush

(From one of the RBW guys) Here is a tip to throw a pretty stock whip.

Go off the jump holding back on the right stick. As soon as you leave the jump push the left stick right or left, right after you do that roll the right stick up the same direction. When you want to come out of it, let go of the sticks and pin the throttle or correct the other direction with just the left.

First of all, Reflex is definitely headed in the right direction with allowing more maneuverability within the bike AND rider -- which I completely love.

What does everyone think of the whips? I am on the fence with this one right now...

The only time I can really get the rider to throw a nice whip is if I hold the right-stick forward diagnol (going up the lip), but this is more of a scrub.

If I try to pull back on the right-stick (going up the lip) and roll it to the left or right the back end just seems heavy and never lifts in the air.

I have tried using the left-stick in conjunction with the right and also using the rear brake, but nothing gives.

Either I am just really used to the previous MX games or this isn't the way you whip in Reflex.

I did however catch this video which shows some pretty sick whips -- just a matter of time I guess.

Good sign that after 3 races on this, MX vs ATV Untamed was damn near unplayable. I can't seem to best a 100.5 or so but damn is it fun.

Just for the record this game is the shiz-nit. Here are a few opinions. Can't wait to unlock the rest of the supey tracks... it's on

Positives

1.) Yellow tires aren't on ALL national tracks (thank God)

2.) National tracks are more realistic (Moto448 is a close replica of Southwick which is badddd)

3.) Leatt Brace

4.) The menu layout is way better than Untamed including the XBOX Live experience

Negatives

1.) Can't create your own custom controls

2.) Customization of the bikes and riders seem a little limited with colors and such. (Maybe more stuff gets unlocked after completing more of the game)

Suggestions

1.) Don't let the rider run into the gate without being hung up

2.) Control when to throw tear-offs and have your screen become "dirty" when you need to throw a tear-off and only have a limited amount (maybe)

2.) Just to clarify, Moto448 is NOT the replica of Southwick. Moto448 is a Texas based track with red clay dirt, which looks bitchin by the way. Sandwick is the replica of the 'Wick. Everyone needs to go buy this game for themselves or their kids and support RBW Studios. They did a phenomenal job this time!Cool

About the pre-order... It just gets you 5 extra Events, such as waypoints and face offs. NOT extra tracks.

More positives that are just plain cool.

Wind
Tear offs
blowing dust actually effecting visibility
more realistic game play
no-boost
Fat shirtless guy on the side of the track rooting you on. Moobs and all. - I had to stop the game and laugh after I piled into him.

more of a wide angle aspect ratio
fireworks

You can create your own controls. Under Options

THE DIRT! lot of neat dirt textures, and hopping up your bike actually helps!

Pre-order codes. I added the code I got in the PSN store. It added some content, but I dont know what it was.

Overall the game is very fun. Way to go Rainbow.

How many MX/SX tracks are there? I've only opened like 6 of each...would much rather have more tracks than the open area stuff and the Rhino BS.

I love the game but really wish they would drop the off road vehicles and just focus on MX side of it. I personally was hoping for more tracks, hopefully they will bring more out and offer them via xbox live and such. other than that the game rocks.

Yes I did, and It took about three minutes to stop laughing at it. I am sure there is a character modeler laughing as well.

"Lets put fatty in here, and we will make him shirtless and his moobs will be blowin in the air." Maybe it was modeled after Flrider?

I just figured since it had the name of Moto448, pretty similar to Moto338.

I did see that it was located in TX, so that sort of through me for a loop, but figured they didn't want to make it too obvious.

Thanks for the info.

Wheeeewww, good thing, not really diggin their setups they have.

You know what would be really cool?

Put sophisticated GPS units on every rider at a National and have those units transmit data to the PS3 network so you could enter a moto in real time and race the real guys. Nascar and F1 already have real time computer simulations so how hard could it be to let us race in a moto or two?

When I said "Custom," I meant just that, you can only use their 6 preset configured controls. i want to be able to map the buttons on my own like you could in previous releases, oh well...

Sounds like you are using the private session option.

If you are you need to invite players to join.

I haven't had any dramas on my PS3.

best bet is to make as many friends that play as you can. when you wana play find a friend that is on and "join session in progress". just going in there and picking mx or sx is very hit and miss.

"moto goat" on xbox live
