I mean is Haidan Deegan really going to be our 250 rider for MX of nations? Why does he seem like one of the more in control riders out there - and hes a rookie. Its beyong impressive at this point. I feel like we are starting to assume already its where he belongs...I really think hes already beat his season hype right? ive been very impressed, even with the few rookie moves on his teammates in SX, or i think we had one outdoors too with looking back, but even him and Christian Craig talked about it on most recent podcast.

I agree it’s great to see him winning but would say it’s not great for the his career. He’s is what 17? What if he wins championships early, will that mean he will ‘point out’ of 250’s? If so he would then be in 450’s for potentially 10 years - a bit like Jet is going to be.
And that’s only if they don’t get burned out.

Deegan's P2 + P3 got him the overall. He may not have been the fastest on the day but his consistency got it done. That makes him the best on the day.

Are you saying an overall win is somehow diminished if it isn't a 1-1? This class is deep with talent, not going to be many clean scores this year if any. Hunter is the class of the field and he doesn't have a 1-1 this year.

You are also confused between the best rider and the fastest rider on the day. Speed doesn't always win.
Deegan was the best rider on the day, whilst the fastest rider was in the Asterisk Medical rig getting Xrays. The other fastsr than Deegan riders all fucked up their motos and couldn't beat Deegan.

In moto 1 Hunter was fastest with a 2.07.123 and Deegan was 2nd fastest with a 2.07.954
Kitchen who won moto 2 could only run a 2.10.273...a lot slower than Deegan
In Moto 2 Kitchen had the fastest time of 2.07.603 as he was out front. Deegan was 2nd fastest with a 2.07.849.
Deegan was the best and fastest finisher of the day. Lap times and results dont lie.
