Whch team/bike is he riding for WSX? Saw him training in GA with Dean Wilson in his Vlog. He had a big MOBIL gas sponsorship on the shrouds which looked really cool along with the white and blue bike. Havent seen a Mobil sponsorship on a bike before, didnt know if it was something new.

I just saw that also. What a great sponsor! And looks awesome on the bike.
He is riding for Rick Ware Racing
Yep, and still on the Kawi 450.
I hope he wins it.

on a Rick Ware Racing KX450, Rick Ware was on the Pulp podcast a month or so back saying they had mobil as their main sponsor
Good to hear, hope they crush it.
I hope he at least gives Roczen a little challenge.
Wish he was racing outdoors, especially this year
Pretty crazy a guy with his speed doesn't have a full-time ride! Got to be something going on
This is his full time ride
He should have a factory ride in the USA,
Why is it so hard to believe some guys want SX only....
SX, WSX, SMX.
I wish I could race around the world like Kenny and Joey are about to, check out different cities, countries, continents. Sounds like a blast, definitely beats the MX grind of 30+2 X11 weekends.
I haven't heard Joey say he wants to be SX only ! I'm sure he would like a factory contract and the pay check that comes with it!
Yeah everyone's doing it....oh wait only Kenny is because they bought him....
How do you know how much he’s making? Might be more than being a lower tier factory rider?
Did anyone listen to pulp and hear what Reed had to say about the WSX? Said the only ones who should be mad in this whole thing is MX sports and outdoor motocross. Said he’s talked to a lot of riders and most would like to be able to do WSX. Basically sounded like most guys are “over it” with the nationals. Said he could see Feld and WSX combining to make one series or WSX would run through the summer and Feld would do Winter. Now I’m paraphrasing, but that’s what I got out of it.
I did.
Also he is paid by the WSX guys, so you gotta take his comment of "everyone wants to come to WSX" with a grain of salt.
He came off pretty cocky about the "WSX vs AMA SX" to me in the interview.
But IDK, Its gonna fail or get succeed. I have no problem being a "late adopter" in it. The tracks look pretty simple to me, besides the nails in the dirt lol.
Majority of Americans ignore it because they don’t want to hear it , this seasons a clear example nobody gives a shit about outdoors , ferrandis Webb Anderson Kenny ( probably Tomac if he does come back ) the Lawrence brothers have both wanted to do it , providing Bailey gets it right the next lot of contracts talks will be pushing for sx only , if you was a sponsor of the outdoors this year you would be far from impressed
Pit Row
Why did he do it last year don when he didn’t have a 6 million pound deal ?
Because he got paid by WSX $250K per race....same reason he's racing this year
What did he make this past weekend doing the outdoors ? ..
Would you not sign up to go race two rounds for 500k?
Ignore it? I heard what Reed said but I can tell you that the manufacturers pay the riders to race SX, MX and SMX...What does Bailey have to get right? he's got nothing to do with contracts (other than Kenny's) the manufacturers are not going to support WSX and every rider that will be on a factory contract will not be racing WSX...you won't see SX only contracts in fact you will and are seeing contracts that will not allow them to race WSX...just ask Kenny how that worked out for him...
He's not a factory rider but Suzuki does pay him bonuses...as does Fox etc....so I would say over $50k....and the more of the outdoors he races the higher seed he is in SMX where he can make more money.
If Bailey gets the series going well the majority of 450 riders especially will be looking to be sx only loads of them have said they like the idea , the manufacturers will do what there told by the big dogs in Austria and Japan IF this takes of , im not saying it will take of , but if it does it will be appealing to the majority of riders there’s no doubt about it , America sx will be just fine that’s where the money is nothings changing there , sadly ama outdoors will be the one to lose out in this
Did you hear the part about Reed has sat in some meetings and the manufacturers have been involved and seem to be interested. Now idk what that means, but that’s all they need to do is get the manufactures on board and it’s a wrap for the nationals. But who knows, it may be just a load of BS.
There’s not a rider on this earth that is turning down 2 million a year to do a handful of races to have a better seed in the smx playoffs 😂
Suzuki and fox will be paying bonus’s regardless of him doing wsx or outdoors
Also, I liked Daniel Blair’s little dig, basically alluding to Feld and MX sports suddenly finding millions of dollars for the series. That’s some shady shit.
Wrong my friend....Suz won't pay a bonus for WSX...not even to Kenny and I can guarantee you that if Fox will pay a bonus to Kenny for WSX it won't be anywhere near what his bonus program is in SX,MX,SMX...
