I am no Doctor, but I have the answer…Mrs Craig , you will have to take the topside position. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Get healthy Christian !
Looking a little rougher for Craig now, just moved to 20th in the standings
He should still be a shoe-in for the LCQs, but bummer for him to have to go to them.
That’s why Dr’s have liability insurance
Ah, more Craig family storyline for SX now
He had operated on me in 05. Long before moving to where he is now.I listed his current credentials only to show that he was still a highly accredited Dr. Back then he was known as the best orthopedic foot surgeon in the New England area .
But my point was more so that even with doing everything as well as possible, things still can go wrong. And that the process of being cleared by him, A sports specialist ,was much more extensive than the other times I had been cleared . With more imaging, and more stress being put on it ( and the rest of my body) before being cleared. So somebody going to a Dr. that specializes in rehabbing athlete's is going to have a higher chance of catching an issue than somebody who has a regular orthopedic clear them.
With other PT. they focused more on range of motion and just the injured area. The process with the Sports Orthopedic was a PT for my entire body. To get me back to where I was or better than before. getting me back in shape so I was really able to return to riding and not ride back into shape. And there were more X rays taken , a more through process. So more chances to catch an issue. So I would think that more issues would be caught. I would think that most Pro athletes would have more extensive rehab processes like I had with the Sports Dr. than with the regular ones. Regular people may be walking around with unhealed bones and just not know it was my point. And Pros may have a higher % of non unions only because a higher % are diagnosed than with regular people. During my time searching out a Dr. to fix me, I spoke with other local racers who also had found out years later they had unhealed fractures.
