After the riffs that were created between LIV Golf and PGA, only to result in a merger, do you think we’ll ever see SMX merge with WSX or SMX (FELD and MX Sports) to pool their money together and acquire WSX so they’re increasing their revenue and owning more of the sport?
Feld and the AMA are done with the FIM, and for good reasons.
PGA did not merge with LIV, they got in bed with the PIF. LIV is it's own separate entity and its future will be decided by the current PGA commissioner.
WSX is not currently a threat and has nothing to offer Feld. WSX is a threat to DMG/MX Sports and Infront, though. DMG/MX Sports has already partnered with Feld, so the only question is whether Infront and WSX will partner under the FIM banner.
If WSX ever wants to stop hemorrhaging money...it had better be open to some kind of joint venture with Feld Entertainment and SMX.
This would risk putting SX back where the FIM controls it, unless the promoters finally ditch the "sanctioning body" scheme behind professional motocross as commercial entertainment property.
I don't know, but I have to imagine the FIM gave Insport the first option to the FIM World Supercross Championship that Feld abandoned after its predecessors acquired Dorna's rights. If so, why did Insport not go after this? (Maybe they did and lost out, or there's some relationship between them akin to DMG and MXSports.)
I don't see this happening, at least while WSX is trying to get traction.

I don't see what value that WSX brings?
Mid pack and retired riders racing in stadiums that are 15% full in countries that most sponsors don't care about....
What's the value that Feld/MX Sports would get from that?
Hard pass....
I think WSX will be gone in a couple of years. The appetite for SX outside of the US isn’t really there I don’t think. There isn’t the same interest, it’s more MX based throughout mainland Europe anyway.
It's not there isn't an appetite for SX it's that people aren't willing to pay to go see Roczen race against riders he usually laps...without top riders they are doomed...
You have to wonder what there will be left to merge with SMX.
What would be the benefit of a merger from the AMA/Feld point of view? They don't compete with WSX.
I dont think a merger would do any good for SX/MX. I think if a european venue or promoter wanted to have a race then they could always approach FELD with a proposal.
