someone needs to tell him to calm down and stop looking back so much... ever heard of "race forward." so many things reminded me of alessi today...
What happened
Shit moving cross country and also not having daylight savings time I missed the Moto thought you were talking practice
Looking back, swerving, brake checking, and cross jumping.

I'm a fan of the kid, but you can only use the "he's just a young rookie" excuse so many times. That was not a good look.
I'm cheering for Deegan and I agree it was nonsense . It's one thing if you have the speed to dice with the guy trying to pass you ,it's completely different when you swerve all over the track to block someone, especially with half the moto to go.
Agree with the point but I thought we all agreed this thread format needs to stop
that was pretty low class and he probably needs a good tuning up … if you know what i mean?
Made a fool of himself there , that looking back shit needs to stop , cross jumping like that will cause serious harm to someone or himself , hopefully someone sits him down after that
Yep. Put up a legit battle, if he gets around, learn something. I think if he let Hunter get around, while putting up a fight, and then latched onto him...he ends up on the podium.
they keep using the rookie excuse while at the same time having documented on YouTube that he has been training with seasoned pros since he got on a supermini.. Mike Alessi rookie vibes for sure. Time to calm down kid and settle into the season, ride your own race and especially don't piss off the top dogs in the class before earning your national number.
You hear that echo and who is "we"?
I agree, but god, I hate the clickbait titles that some of y'all do.
I'm usually with you, but if you were watching the first moto today, everyone knew what this one was going to be about...
Trying to hold the position by blocking and brake checking in the last 1-2 laps as long as the rider isn't cross jumping isn't an issue in my mind. ITs the final 2 laps and you may just hold them off. But Cross jumping, swerving, brake checking, and everything to block the rider when there is +20 min left in the moto when the rider behind is clearly faster is just dumb, especially the cross jumping. Realize you don't have the speed or the lines, let the faster rider go, tuck in behind him and learn from him. Learn his lines and where you are losing speed. just dumb by Deegan.
Why? Yer gonna click on it anyways. Ya'll do when you see the great legendary legend Bobbym post on a topic. 😍😎😏👍👌
Yet here you are, clicked on it anyway..
Who cares? It bothers you that much?

I’m a huge fan of his riding but today was ridiculous. Hunter should have punted him off the track. Bullshit riding from a very talented kid. I’d say young man but he hasn’t grown up enough to earn that title
Agree. It is dumb. Unless he's just stupid he will learn that it's dumb just like so many others have. That's all it is though, all the extra hate and going in on him for it because of who he is also dumb. If he's still doing it in 10 years like barcia let me know and we can talk.
Hunter didn’t have a problem with Deegan riding like that with Smith in Sx, he even went out of his way to chime in at the press conference, so Hunter shouldn’t have a problem with it today
Why the bitching now. He has been that way since he was on small bikes.
True, BUT until JT asked specifically about Deegan, Hunter didn't really complain much about it. I don't think he even mentioned it at all, actually?
Didn't see it much from Barcia this season, because he's been riding faster and competing. Barcia was doing that crap when he didn't have the speed to compete. Same thing happened to Deegan today. When a rider develops racecraft, they learn to go faster. Hunter and Deegan were losing 2 seconds a lap to Coop when Deegan was playing games.
Until he had to race sexton and didn't have the speed to hang.... then it was back to the old ways. He's still the same guy just a little faster and doesn't have to resort to it as much, but he has no qualms about going there.
I don't understand why
You would post in a format like this
I didnt see the podium interviews, if he didn’t mention it, it must not have been a big deal to him
Literally. It does not take a lot of brain power to format a subject title and a post.
Pops Deegan better peel some caps and split some wigs after today.
