*As instructed*

Yes I am a long time lurker and Danny Dolan lured me out of the shadows. My name is Jeff and I am 39 yrs old. I started riding when I was six, and have continued off and on since then. The Army and other life's challenges kept me from riding more. I spent 13 yrs in the Army, three with 2/75 Rgr Regt, and most of the rest in 5/20Inf/Stryker. I did two tours in Iraq, got blown up outside Sadr City (shrapnel wounds in my face), and don't regret going. I got out cause I missed my family.

RC is the Goat, MC is the King of Supercross, JBS is the fastest, CR is the most consistant, and RV is going to rule them all. Wink Two-Strokes have their place and Four-Strokes also have theirs, it is on the MX track. SX is a show and a good one at that, where MX is a war. Until the Europeans win MXDN or an AMA Title on a regular basis, the USA has the best riders and the best racing. I'm not say the Everts, Jobe, Geboers, Thrope, Cairoli, or "The Man" aren't great. But Hannah, Lackey, Magoo, Ward, Glover, Laporte, Johnson, Bailey, Stanton, Schmidt, MC, RC, JBS and RV, I think we have a better lineage. And when it comes to bench racing, facts always trumps opinion.

Yes I will STFU, since I am a NOOB. I am used to hazing, but not disrepect. Hope to add to the fun and craziness here at Vital. Just don't piss me off, I come from the same state as Danny Dolan.

Welcome!

Pretty sure that with your background you won't be too beat up by the crowd on here.

Nice photo of you and David Bailey by the way...

Man, it's just not fair when a newbie comes in and in his first post gives everyone a worthy reason to salute him and thank him rather than telling him to, well, ST... I can't even type it. Rupert said it best, JE215....

Wait, this ain't another Danny Dolan though, right? Same state, sure, but not the same marketing team, right? We can never be too careful now, you know.

Just kidding.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I was expecting some hazing, but I'm thinking I will get mine in due time.

The photo was at RMC before the 05 Seattle Supercross. It was amazing, people all around getting riders autographs and there is the Icon, all by himself watching the whole thing. I was floored that he didn't have a line himself. He sign that hat I was wearing and never worn since.

Probably go watch the racing at the Trac. My son started at QB for his HS over on the West side and new baby, not in race shape.

DC, thank you for doing the Deployed section in Racer X. I have never replied, but my mom did submit for the article that got ran back in 03-04 time frame. And yes it did get printed.

I am amazed!

I feel like I just saw a Unicorn.
I never thought it was even possible for a first post to divulge that much info and be completely legit and not get lured by the fisherman.

Welcome to the board, from your intro, it sounds like your gonna be one of the rare rational Vital members.

Also thanks for your service!

Sammamish HS. They got their asses handed to them by Mt. Si. and the rest of the Kingco League. But I have to hand it to my son, he played the last 5 games with a broken thumb on his throwing hand. He got pins in it last week. Him and I thought it was just a sprain.

Ha! One of our best friends son, Chris Clark is the Mt. Si QB, both of my daughters go there. Small world. I guess Toes was epic last weekend, we raced Oakwood. Gonna try Toes after Thanksgiving if its not to cold.
