Ferris n even beaton been more consistent  then Webster so far.

But if Webster wins next few aus mx events ...then he would number 1 pick

I think Haarup is only 21 or something like that, crazy considering that he has been racing MX2 for so many years.

Going to be a tough for allot of guys to get a decent team.

Geerts is already locked and Pancar potential doing his own deal again but in MXGP.

Honestly I don’t see any factory team picking one off those guys up. Moosdijk could if he wins some races and finish strong that Nestaan put a 450 under the tent but otherwise..

Websters inconsistencies have been totally out of his hands but yes he needs to have some results/luck come his way

I've said Evans needs to just ride within himself and accept that he'll be on a satellite team next year, as it seemed like he has been pushing himself too hard before he was ready to try and prove that he belongs on a factory team, but I'm not even sure if he'll be able to land a satellite team ride with how he's riding at the moment. Truly a shame as he showed great speed before his wrist injury but he just hasn't been able to stay healthy.

Beaton is only in the points lead right now because he was one of few lucky riders to avoid a mechanical at Wodonga. Webster's bad results have largely been out of his hands. Personally I would rate Webster as the best rider in Australia at the moment, then probably Ferris funnily enough as unbelievable as that seemed coming into this season, then imo you could make an argument for Clout, Tanti or Beaton being the next best guy. Wilson Todd can also ride a 450 very fast but he looks way out of control doing it, shocked he didn't hurt himself last year when he did those rounds on the 450. Also wouldn't be totally ridiculous to put both Lawrence brothers on 450s for MXoN and Todd on the 250

Webster being on Honda is helpful to his cause.

Trust me Evans will come good. He’s always had raw speed. Once he has some more time on the bike I can see him top 10 then top 5 before season ends

Heard that KTM and Wilvo is not a sure thing (yet). KEMEA seems to be the new Factory Yamaha MXGP team. Hutten Metaal MX2, not sure what DeBaets Yamaha will do.

Wilvo is looking for a manufacturer. Also heard that Ducati is stepping in?

Going to be an interesting season next year as I see some riders unable to get decent rides and will probably lose teams too. IMO MXGP never improves in fact I feel its getting worse. Not many races this season where racing has been good to watch. Different story when you watch AMA from start to finish its on a different level. found myself not even watching some races this year.

its mainly just the tracks in MXGP, there mostly 1 line which doesn't make for great racing. Watch AMA and they have multiple line choices. At the end of the day we have the tracks globally to make great racing but MXGP wants to race on carparks

Lots of guys moving around in MXGP,  and lots of team rumours too.

Walking round the pits yesterday, someone is getting rich off the new expandable trailers, i think there were 7 in total, 2 for Kawasaki , and 3 for HRC, 2 for Standing Construct.

Adds nothing to the show IMO , especially the HRC ones where its blanked out apart frim 2 ft or so at ground level of the trailers.

Van Berkel who is a sand specialist and a very capable rider straight up didn't score points this weekend. He went 15-16 at Southwick, 19-13 at Red Bud and 4-2 at the Canadian round at Gopher Dunes.

The level in the GPs is still very, very high although the 13-20th place riders might not be household names.

I think its awfull for the fans.

And imo the teams are just copycats. Rather have them spend that money on a 3rd rider

Will be interesting who takes yamahas emx250 spot. To be honest i would have probably put money on Hutten leaving then on stepping up to mx2 after the whole jumbo issue.

De Baets have a good rider in Paturel but their setup does not look comparable to Hutten at all so not sure they are the team for emx250.

I agree it is not great for fans, can’t even get close to the factory bike these days.

I also appreciate why they are doing it, the amount of man hours saved over the season must be tremendous. Instead of 4/5 team personnel spending a day putting the awning up and down every GP, they can just turn up on a Friday and it’s all ready to go. The truck driver can push a button and it’s all set up, then the same on leaving after the GP.

I have been hearing the most crazy rumours the last couple of weeks. Some could be true and some are close to a conspiracy theory. It’s for sure interesting to follow but in the end take everything with a grain of salt at the moment.

Indeed the most you hear about Wilvo losing Yamaha factory MXGP, but then I also heard they will keep it for sure but also that the decision still has to be made. Another rumour have been the fact they will become a KTM supported or even the official KTM factory team. Then another person told me they will become Husqvarna factory which seems odd and not in line with the Pierer strategy to put more and more in Motogp and shift Husky away from MX (in Europe)

Also I heard the rumour about Kemea becoming Factory Yamaha MXGP while Hutten becomes MX2. Also there is the talk that Kemea will do both MXGP and MX2  now, so we will hopefully see soon how this develops. I share the idea it’s weird that Hutten is rumoured to become MX2 with their owner being a suspect in the Jumbo case, but it could also be that he is cleared from any wrong doings without that being out in the media, in that case it makes a lot of sense to go with them.

Maddi is apparently the team that is going to operate the Ducati MXGP program while Gebben is connected to become Fantic factory.

Besides the fact that de Baets not have the most shiny new rig setup yet, they for sure do a very good job giving Paturel a decent platform. The bikes are always fresh and Paturel does pretty good so for a brand bew team they do well. Also they can always upgrade to a semi if they would need one, but now it seems they care way more to invest in to Benoit and the structure around the team.

keep up the rumours it’s always fun to hear and read about them.

Thats nice Insider. I also heard about Kemea doing both MX2 and MXGP, as Hans Corvers is really motivated to succeed with his team. Makes sense as they're doing the same with Star in USA, bringing both 250/450 in one structure. Wilvo being Husqvarna is probably depending on the amount of Euro's Wilvo is willing to invest in the team on a yearly base. Seems like F&H is the factory Kawi mx2 team now and Iceone will remain MXGP. Febvre is not signed (yet), so Wilvo may go for him? Who are the free agents for now in MXGP? Evans, Febvre, Forato, Seewer, Coldenhoff, Jonass, Bogers? Also very interesting what Standing will do once Jonass is back. Will they keep van Horebeek (who is doing an amazing job) for the rest of the season and go on with 3 riders? Nestaan for next year looks set with Coenen and De Wolf. Vd Moosdijk has to go to MXGP. Will they add another rider in mx2 or was the option of 3 riders because of Diga folding?

Sure Watson will also be looking for a ride. These are the type of riders that may struggle to get a deal

Understand the trailer for sure but why the stickers on the window?
Keep it open for fans and sponsors!
