I know he was the house announcer at Washougal for years, and didn’t he get hit by a bike a few years back too?

Pretty sure it was his brother that got hit by the bike. Brian had some other health stuff tho.

Heard over the speaker at shougal last weekend he's been spending time with his pops and just did a fishing trip or something with him.

Brian is a good man , and a hell of an announcer. I've known him going on 30+ years , and I couldn't say enough good things about him , or what he's done for PNW MX.

  It shocked me though , to hear about him donating his jersey collection. I've known about it for decades and have a few buddies that have seen it. It's impressive to say the least. I'm surprised , because I always knew how important that collection was to him. And to donate it?  I don't even know what to say. Shocked.

D20560FA-4EC2-41BD-BE7A-4148A09A1E4FHis brother got hit in the S turns. It was one of the freestyle guys who was racing a national and he came off the track. Was a bad deal. 

The collection is amazing!

Handing over such a mammoth collection, that was surely a prized possession, so that Road 2 Recovery can benefit other riders... what a guy.

I hope he gets his share of good karma from this, he deserves it.

That is an amazing collection and to give that up for charity is even more amazing.  A lot of cool jersey's and that David Bailey one looks like it's going to pull quite a bit in for charity.  Good job, Brian Barnes.
