Only $10 for all 2026 SX, MX, and SMX series.
That rookie is not even fast. He only got his factory ride because of his popular YouTube channel.
Podium in his first race, I’d say he’s going ok. Tracks are just different here… he’ll be fine
But but the usa series is easier lol. They come over for the $$ and less competition. Hahaa
Nope! “Excuse me. Could you please remove you bike from the podium. That’s RJ’s spot”.

Haha
gotta give RJ credit, he never gave up… 3 dirt samples and a bad start. He’s going to be a player this year, if he can stay off the ground
Exactly. Chest thumping after 2 motos on a overgrown sx track
He'll be a player for wins. Nothing he did today shows me he's a title contender
I agree with that !
Why do grown men on this forum act like 16 year olds? Can't we all just enjoy the racing
Retired MXGP rider finishing twice in AMA 450 MX top ten... Viva Jose Butron
Two overall Results in THE AMERICAN NATIONAL motocross Championship raced, non won by an American.
Arrested development
Lol. Check mate
And they just keep coming here to race our NATIONAL championship for some reason.
Vialle’s line selection was really satisfying to watch. I don’t know how the season will play out, but I’m looking forward to watching more of Vialle.
Are you really gone take the "banter" towards a troll seriously?
He did beat the 2-time outdoor champion though. By like 15 spots.
Some reason: Supercross.
Yup he smashed j mart
Pit Row
Easier barrier to entry, easier money!
Butron scored 1.475 points on average per moto in his last 20 MXGPs. Here he is in the top ten.
Locurcio scored 1.67 points on average per moto in the 14 MXGPs he raced. Here he is in the top ten.
... and that's with 20-30 rider gates.
Vialle is a much better rider than both of them but he can extend his 250 career in America, earn a ton of cash and not be forced up to MXGP. Hypothetically he wouldn't have to race the likes of Hunter Lawrence, RJ, Justin Cooper, Jeremy Martin, Michael Mosiman and Jordon Smith in Europe this season, they would all have to be in MXGP.
On rides they would have pay for and not earn any money….
Did you miss the bit where I said "easier barrier to entry, easier money!".
It is exactly why Brit Josh Gilbert came over last year! He has raced five MXGP races, scored 11 points. He scored 17 points in his first AMA National last year. MXGP is expensive and it is even worse when you're working your nuts off to get a few points for limited rewards. It must be soul destroying when there's 25-30 riders on the gate and you're struggling to get points!
Josh was much better here than he was in mxgp. Like mewse, he just doesn’t seem to find his groove in mxgp
He would have taken a confidence hit during the SX series, he should do better as the season goes on.
PS to OP, An Aussie won the race, came from the GP's too.
Top ten in todays field, add the regulars they wdnt be top ten. Dont kid yourself.
With the regulars, this isn't going to push these guys to scoring less than 2 points per moto today.
There was stacked class last year, yet Gilbert finished inside the top 15 both in motos and overalls, multiple times. He couldn't even get inside the top 15 in MXGP, with 25% of the gate empty most weekends.
And this isn't the first time Lorenzo has finished inside the top 10! He went 7-7 at Southwick years ago. He went from outside the top 30 in the second moto today to 11th. It must've felt like he was racing in Indonesia.
So much for full gates making a difference.
250 class is stacked! I thought Tom had a good first round?
He did better than I thought he would at Pala. It is a weird and kinda slow track. It's probably the least like any track on the GP circuit. It's also his first time seeing deep national rip so it makes sense that he got better as the day went on.
I still expect him to struggle a bit in his first few east coast humidity killer heat days but make no bones about it, he's going to win some races this year and probably be the title favorite next summer.
^^this. It took huntah a little while to get dialed in. Ppl were doubting him up until recently.
Maybe they should check his motor?
