KTM Service manual. NOT owners manual.

Does KTM make a service manual? Not the owners manual, but a really in depth one? My brother got one for his suzuki, I can't find any. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places?

The only service manual I have seen for KTM's comes on a CD. It covers almost all models each year on the same disk and it is only available from the dealer. The info is there, but it is a P.I.T.A. to use.
Every once in a while I have seen them offered on E-Bay.

Why can't all the OEM's offer up a manual like Yamaha and Suzuki? Pay enough for the bikes they can include some good info... I ran Suzukis for ever and was used to their manuals. Then went to a Yamaha and same thing. Next got a Kawi and the manual was junk. Went to KTM, again junk manuals. Back on Yamaha and back to a decent manual...

The only service manual I have seen for KTM's comes on a CD. It covers almost all models each year on the same disk and it is only available from the dealer. The info is there, but it is a P.I.T.A. to use.

correct. I work at a dealership which carries KTMs. the service manuals are discs only and have been that way since I started there in 2012. they are available at a KTM dealer and usually cover various years and or similar models as Paw Paw stated.

Guys at KTM Talk go to Kinkos with the cd, then have it produced into a physical manual.

So I've got a 2023 KTM 250 XCF and the dealer just told me I can't even buy a disc service manual from them. Any idea where to go for this? I found some euro website offering some for download pdf with a donation but I'm worried if its legit or not. 

How stupid is this? I don't mind paying for one. Paper or pdf. What are the bike shops using?

I just wanna check my valves for fucks sake.

I got the "Repair" manual for my GasGas EX 250 at the link below.  Look at the bottom of the page for the link to the on demand print portal.  Yes, you have to pay for it and that seems shitty after paying 10k for a new bike.  You get a pdf of a full repair manual which has a watermark with your email lightly across every page.  It can be used like any other pdf.
