Saved me writing mine out. Thank I’m anticipating serious battles between hunter and vialle. Consistent top 5s from jo with a win here or there. Flashes of brilliance from j coop and j mart but an injury/just off days derail title hunt. Kitchen to be top 6 regular and just smoke everyone at a random race tbc haha.

garret marchbanks also looked super comfy on that viral Instagram clip that’s going round, dark horse? Or is he doing 450 again?

I know MX is different then SX but Vialle did so poorly at SX I am wondering if it will affect his MX season. He’s older so I think physically he will be fine outdoors I’m just wondering if his overall confidence took a slight ding. I had him right up in the front but will see.

Cooper and Lawerence seem to be odds on favorites to win and Hunter only has one career MX win. He needs to find the consistency that he has never had outdoors to battle with Cooper for this title, And in saying all that… I want Shimoda to win this title he came on incredibly strong last year.

I think the title comes down to the 4 I just mentioned with J mart, Kitchen and RJ being wildcards with maybe Degan being the ultimate wildcard.

I think any rider on the lists in this thread could win a moto.

Could be great season in 250s

(unless HL does what he did in SX)

If Jeremy Martin is healthy then I go with him or Hunter, Vialle and Joe and Justin Cooper are my 3-5 guys.

Jmar has been labeled a back marker by Deegan. Deegan top 3 for the season.

Cooper, Hunter, and J-Mart should be our consistent race winners and title contenders. Slight edge to Hunter seeming to have taken a step forward this year.

Shimoder needs to show me something. I think it could be a break out summer for him or he’s a p3 guy like he was last year.

Vialle is a dark horse. Can’t wait to see how he manages on US tracks. Possibly a contender.

Sprinkle in some moto wins by RJ and Kitchen.

I see Deegan being a p5 guy and building toward some podiums this summer. I think next year he could contend, but we will see how is raw speed is outdoors.

IMO Tommy Vialle is going to come to form after 2 or 3 rounds and set sail for the championship.

J- Coop for 2nd

Hunter for 3rd.

I'm a big fan of J-Mart, and he could put a push on any one of these guys, but I can't determine how hungry he is for this series championship so I'll put him in 4th over all.

Hampshire is a wild card - he could win it all or toss it early.  I like him at 5th.

Tough to decide with all of the talent.

Thank the moto gods we're going outside for some real racing.

I was thinking the same about Vialle. And the first couple of tracks aren't going to suit him. But then again if he has one good moto or get a win early he should get his confidence back pretty quickly

Lots of people sleeping on Shimoda. I don’t remember exact results but I seem to remember Shimoda being in front of Hunter more times than not especially towards the end of the season

If I had to bet my house, it'd be on Vialle.  2X World Champ....blazing fast outdoors.  MX2 is cutthroat....

I think J Coop might finally get that needed consistency.  He will always start up front and that will be tough to overcome if he's taken that last step to be a champ (get out front and stay there or get to the podium if he starts outside the top 5).

So looking forward to it...  Might be one of our best 250 years in recent times.  Have a bunch of upstarts coming in too that could have some top 5 moto's like Ryder D. and Chance Hymas, etc.

Is this sarcasm or serious.

Only little bikes he is one of the most successful ever. He won everything.

Then got only full size bikes and has had injury after injury.

Sorry when I said I have not seen anything from him I don't mean that by ability I mean I have not watched him ride, I was just wondering what kind of talent level he is and where do people expect him to be.

On a mini he was a ripper.

On the 250 I don't really think many ppl have high expectations. He been injuried 99% of the time. I think most ppl expect him to be near the back of the factory riders (12-15) then lose his ride for next season. It doesn't sound like he has anything lined up.

So for him hopefully he can have a positive season and get some attention to further his career.

Did KTM change their 250 chassis back like they did on 450? Hopefully KTM has a contender in Vialle.

This year looks on paper to be one of the best 250 series in a long time.

Hunter, Shimoda, Valle and Cooper have to be the favorites but you cant count out RJ and Martin. To me Shimoda is my pick because he has been testing outdoors all year and not going back and forth with SX settings like the others have, he tood some gate drops in the last 4 SX races to be race ready. In saying that Hunter and Valle will be super tough to beat also.
