So for whatever reason we all know Daxton Bennick didnt race pro supercross this year even though he definitely looked ready. Does anybody know if hes at least going to race pro motocross this year? I cant see him racing amateurs again after cleaning up futures. I cant find anything saying what his plans are for this summer though. Does anybody know?

But he didn‘t clean up futures 🤷♂️
Pretty sure he’s racing amateurs still and moving up after Loretta’s.
If true thats weak. Outdoors is the perfect time to get your feet wet when its less dangerous than sx. Better to get a season of pro racing under your belt before racing sx vs jumping straight in the deep end, since he has the choice to do it now.
He will get his feet wet this summer racing the pro motocross rounds after Loretta’s.

Well at least thats somethin.
Him and Beaumer both look ready. Cochran staying down another year makes sense, but Bennick and Beaumer look like they could both turn pro for the nationals.
and you can tell this by watching them in short SX futures races?
Last I asked the team, and it’s been a month or two, the plan is for Dax to race Loretta’s this year then do Nationals afterwards. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him one or two nationals before LL though since the rules allow it.
Absolutely. Watched them in multiple races (Bennick beat Deegan in a futures race earlier in the season) and timed qualifying at multiple events (in which they were as fast or faster than Deegan). Beaumer and Bennick are just as fast as Deegan, who finished second in the points. Those guys are ready. The young talent coming up in the 250 class is fantastic.
I bet it's not his decision. I would assume Star hired him to race Futures and LL to win those titles. He's won't turn 18 until Jan, so he's still pretty young.
based on how he was racing you could pretty well tell he's under alot of pressure to win futures. kinda sucks. he's gonna hurt himself that way
What you talk'n bout Willis? Dax has not looked out of control or dangerous in the future races. I'm thinking his team, parents and he can probably make the best choice in when he's ready to turn pro.
He's looked great. Until the last round battling with juju
He lost the front on a slick track.
Exactly. Maybe he was a little eager or maybe not. Even the 250 Pros were having trouble with the rain slick track.
Extremely short main, Championship on the line, slick track. I'm fine with it and he will be fine too. How many times did we see our 450 Supercross Champion lose the front riding by himself this year?
man i am kind out of the amateur loop but saw this kid on a deegan video and was very very impressed with him?? KTM days-Deegan as well. Is he suppose to be another big thing out of "deegans camp" or whatever? i believe either they stayed with deegan or visa versa on the east coast before Haiden was on Yamaha, and then kind of seemed like they both went yamaha.
During that time though I noticed time and time again on videos he would be right in the mix with everyone.. Again, dont know his age, don't know his past but I was very impressed. Also... I don't think anyone, (not saying amyone here does or doesnt believe this) take the whole haiden deegan and sx futures goign bad, one week, and next going into east coast sx... that doesnt mean others would be able to do that...it was a unique situation..and
Haiden is special, i think its time we admit that... not to hijack the thread though..
But, is Dax getting overlooked? are they preparing him properly?
IMO, i like the skip supercross and send them into outdoors FULL season after preparing during everyone is riding SX only and be ahead of them once the gate drops, (body wear and tear meaning) and ready to go for 11 rounds of motocross.
just some of my curiousness coming out at lunch!
happpy monday everyone haha!

There's no relation to "deegan camp" other than they both ride a Yamaha. He's just another fast amateur just like Beaumer is. Go look up his lap times, qualifying times, and race results compared to Deegan and you'll find he's right there with Deegan speed-wise. So if you think Haiden is special, you might want to start following Daxton too. Same for a bunch of other kids like Ryder D, Beaumer, Jett R., etc. Lots of super fast young guys in the ranks coming up.
oh ok my bad,,, i had just watched multiple videos of them basically living together for a while at a compound somewhere a few years back so i just assumed they were at one of their places.... also, who knows how long of a time frame in between those videos were filmed... they could come out for three different episodes / 3 weeks, and it was all filmed in one weeks time and just banked content.
my bad for being so dumb for thinking that, I apologize. i forgot we all must leave the stupidity at the door.
dude, ease up on yourself. Nobody is calling you dumb or stupid. Just inviting you to look into some of the other new and up and comer riders in the amateurs. I get that there has been a ton of hype around Deegan - that hype has been good and bad for him. Lots of cool stories on kids coming up. Now is the time to dive into the sport and connect with these young riders as they are the future. Enjoy the process.
To be fair, Dax and haiden are pretty much best friends. Deegan’s spent a lot of time riding with Dax over the years. I wouldn’t be one bit surprised if Deegan helped get Dax that Yamaha ride when his ktm contract was up
Maybe they are great friends and maybe they helped with the ride, but Yamaha isn't going to offer that ride to someone who isn't fast as hell, and Dax is every bit as fast as Haiden. Lap times prove it. Its not like he didn't earn +95% the ride with his speed alone. Time will tell if their careers develop similarly.
Absolutely, Dax, Haiden, Chance and Julien are all going to be running close to the front next year... And that doesn't include a few others that could be really close like Ryder D and Jett R. The 250 class has a very bright future.
Never said anything about that. I was simply pointing out why he thought Dax was part of the Deegan group. I’m a Dax fan. He’s good kid
Pretty cool to have an AZ boy running up near the front. Would love to have Glendale cheer for Juju like Denver does for Eli. Went to Denver SX last year in 2022 when Eli sewed up the title. That was so cool with the crowd cheers following him around the track.
The reason they appear close is the Deegan's would go ride at Dax's track in NC. Todd Bennick (Dax's dad) is a former racer and successful businessman who has a pretty big compound. KTM had a ride day there a few years ago before Loretta's. When the Deegan's headed to NC to follow Hallie they had Todd do the dirt work for the house they built, and Haiden was riding at Bennick's. The families share a common goal of giving their kids the best opportunities to succeed in this business, I wouldn't call them best friends. I also wouldn't call Dax part of the Deegan group.
I grew up in Bullhead City, so I dig that he’s from LHC.
Maybe we can get a Juju chant going at Glendale next year!
Well from what I know of them, the two sure seem to have spent (and still do) a lot of time hanging out together and seem to be pretty close friends off the track
Yea when the Deegan's first moved from the west coast to NC they were not far from Dax's compound, but they sold that place shortly after and moved east to Mooresville to where all of the NASCAR teams are located. I haven't been to the Bennick compound yet but my son wants to do one of the summer riding clinics they offer there.
