That thing sounds crisp on the telecast! 

Lester’s ride in the LCQ was “The Ride of the Day @ ATL” to me. The dude rode the wheels off that smoker late in the LCQ & showed some serious skills. So stoked for him & his sponsors. 

That YZ250 Two-Smoker was Crisp !!! 

Dummy RC tried his hardest to ignore it....the best story on the track and Daniel finally picked up on it with 2 to go. Those guys just don't talk about the cool side stories or give any insight to privateer life. It sucks.

Yeah RC's explanation of the differences between a 2 stroke and 4 stroke was lamer than hell, should have just kept quiet so we could hear the bike better.

Jared Lesher qualified for the 450SX main event—aboard a Yamaha YZ250 two-stroke! By doing so, Lesher became the first 250cc two-stroke to make a premier class main event since we believe Mike Brown did so in April 2006 at the Houston Supercross. Lesher and crew were pumped as he hit a big heel-clicker as he took the checkered flag in fourth in the LCQ! The Pennsylvania native was riding well all day and brought home 20th in just his second ever 450SX main event.

Cool to hear how stoked FMF were when they saw the bike in person, in the Pulp clip above.

Also cool to see how dialled and expertly prepped and spec'd the bike is on the MXA bike check video.

Its awesome to see someone still trying on a 250 2-stroke. That's still the heart of the sport. But dude needs to let that big dog eat. He keeps bogging around the track. Wick that thing man!

2-strokes will always be the heart of the sport. 

I just re-watched the 450 LCQ on Peacock just so I could watch and hear those final few laps of that 2 smoker. Dude was looking good out there!
