I won't argue that he doesn't come across well but as i said earlier, he's just a punk kid dirt bike racer. That's the sport. It doesn't pay enough to have a full field of polished professionals with media training. So you will have young guys that come across this way.
Now John on the other hand, he can go fuck himself. Yeah they're not "supposed" to have cars in the pits. Dude its fucking winter time and the privateer is sitting out there freezing his nuts off. Let him sit in his damn rental car and stay warm. The rule is there for a specific reason and this ain't it... Just move along and deal with bigger issues. I fucking despise the dorks that run around saying "well rules are rules". As far as the COVID test goes, i promise you he wasn't the only one. Literally every person despised having to deal with that shit on a weekly basis. A bunch of dudes were skirting around that.
I do agree that it would probably be annoying to be pitted beside him but there is a very clear and easy way to prevent dumb shit like this from happening. Feld, who is extremely profitable can pay the riders a reasonable amount. I'm not saying they have to give the LCQ guys six figures but if you make the night show, it should pay enough to get you to the next round without begging for handouts... Feld are the low rent jokes in this situation. There business practices produce this type of shit.

The AMA used to give pre-entered riders a free "Guest" pass, but it was worthless if I was there with my Dad as my mechanic. I still had to BUY a "Mechanic" pass.....$ 45 extra dollars in the 1990's.
