Has anyone tried these and have an feedback? I looked at a pair at my local dealer and the boots appear to be very well constructed with great support. Looking online, they can be found pretty cheap too. It's time for new boots for my kid, he wears through the soles on Tech 7s pretty quickly.

Yup, almost 2 seasons in them. About to buy another pair on closeout. The buckles are very temperamental but overall great boot.

I do not have any personal experience with them. But I've had a few customers who have been wearing the Leatt boots since they became available a couple years ago. Expert and AA level woods racers and they LOVE them .  When I talked to them about the boots last , they only had about a half season on them. But they really liked them, and still wear them. Not sure if its the same pair or how many they have gone through. But either way they are still wearing them .

I’m on my second season with them, I like them. Very supportive, and comfy. The only downside is the buckles give you a hard time when they get dirty. Overall a very good boot for the price.

I have a pair but haven’t tried them other than trying them on.  I bought them at Christmas for 165 shipped, marked down from 399.  Couldn’t pass that deal up.  Kris Keefer tested them and had a pretty good review.

They're almost as comfortable as tech 7s and offer better support.

support wise the 4.5s are very similar to tech 7s

I don't have any sole issues but I also don't run very aggressive pegs.

The directional velcro is so stupid and works so well it should be on every boot.

I tried some on and they felt incredibly secure and safe, but I've had so many ankle surgeries that my right ankle anatomy has changed and the boot was too tight on that particular side.  I was bummed they didn't work out because they felt so protective.

Can’t be worse than gearne buckles. One molecule of dirt and you have to beat them with a mallet.

Mid 2ks Alpinestars required a dead blow to buckle but would pop open at the sight of a sagebrush lol

I have had them for 5 months. No issue at all with the buckles. Super comfy and super protective. For the price you get in some colours I think is the Best Bet. I will repeat if they last something reasonable
