Going to east Rutherford. Looking at tickets now. Curious what the best seats are for watching the race? Is lower level the best or is it like a football game where the club level seats are better? Any advice would be great.
This is really personal preference. Most people I know like to be mid-high up as it gives you a better view of the entire track, however you need great eyes to see names/numbers.
I’m the opposite, in fact I’d love to be able to experience a race trackside. I like the feel of being close to the track. Especially nowadays with the big screens. If a battle gets out of my eyesight I’ll just check out the tv until they come back into view. I try n get my tux approx 20 toes up from the floor or toward the top of the field level section.
The way I have always personally done it is buy the cheapest tickets that are up high. Watch the night show from there so you can see the entire track. During practice I go right down by the track and move around to see all the sections up close.
200 club sections hands down. Best viewing with the perks of having club amenities.
During practice however, you can float around the stadium in the lower sections to experience the trackside sections.

Lower level for sure is better than higher up. One of the coolest spots to get seats is the first big jump take off right after the finish line jump. Not much cooler experience than being lower level, front few rows and a SX winner jumping the finish line jump after a win, then rolling the next corner, and then pulling up to the lip of the first jump and rev'ing the bike being super pumped after the win. I'd go lower level, look for a good section of rhythms, preferably a turn after the finish line.
My personal opinion is near the top of the lower bowl. You're still relatively close, but can see the whole track. As far as what part of the stadium, I usually try to look at a track map for the specific event and decide from there.
200 level club i feel is best overall for viewing, bathrooms, food, and other adult type refreshments!
I have not been to that stadium, but I would go for section 213. Next best available now looks like 242, then 143 up high. Different seats are different experiences. I always walk a complete loop around the stadium to see the track. Check seatgeek.com for section views of the field.
IMO 200 level at the 50 yard line is typically best. I usually go for one price level less as close as I can get to there. Next time buy earlier, there will be better seats available. Enjoy!
I was there in I think section 237. Seats were great but got so cold by the night show couldn't enjoy it. Was 75 that day for practice, dipped low 40s and breezy for the night show. Dress warmer than you think you need to is my advice.
This is where I ended up. Paid 60 bucks a ticket(4 tickets). Should be 240 right? With fees was 330. Rip off but seats in that section that were resale were double the price. Got to see Tomac before he hangs the boots up. Been to plenty of budds creek nationals but never a supercross so excited. Thanks for feedback guys!
We’re in 114, hopefully we’re not too low block our own view! And yes the fees for tickets are always steep. So dumb they just don’t include everything in the price instead of kicking you in the nuts with it when you’re checking out.
We always get club seats at MetLife. Better food/drink, cleaner bathrooms, no lines for that stuff and easy access for inside in case of bad weather, although it looks like it’s gonna be good weather.
1st row 200 level is the best of the best imo. No one blocking your vision and you can see the entire track.
Yea I had never been to supercross so wanted to go “experience” over view. I have season tickets for temple football and have 4 seats club level 50 yard line and then another 4 front row in end zone. When I divvy up tickets I always ask do you want to get the experience of college football or do you want to watch the game? Really looking forward for the race next weekend. Not spiked about driving 2 hours each way from Wilmington(Philly area) but should be a great night. Hope Tomac gets gets the W.
Wander around the stadium during practice to different seats to get up close and see different sections. Bring your monster cab to get in the pits. Check out the privateers in the back of the pits.
We make a long weekend of it in NYC. At least you don’t have to travel the Schuykill to get there and back! 😆
