UFO Plast kits are coming 24 April least in EU.  They dont make skid plates so have to wait longer for Acerbis to come out with one.

R-Tech plastics out of italy has plastic kits in stock. Good fitment and quality. Think I paid 200 bucks or so shipped to my door for the full set which had all the plastics except fork guards.

Just got my suspension back from Enzo, I’ll give a ride report  in a couple days stiffer springs and spring tubes, can’t wait to try this stuff!

Curious to see how you like the Enzo stuff for sure, but I’m more curious about how you ended up with a blue front fender on a Monster edish…

Must be a black fender thing - mine cracked on both side up beside crown. Can't really blame the bike as i ate shiz a few times when breaking it in

MotoX85:  the stock brakes feel very weak / spongy during first few rides.  Seems there is a film on the rotor and it gets on the pads.  Clean the rotors and brake pads, you will feel a big improvement.  You may not need steel braid.

Keep Fork height at 2-3mm, and sag at 105.....twitchyness goes away.

Yes it’s an oem fender, Motosport had them in stock

I have 12 hrs on the 23 and on the first two air filter changes I saw that it almost sucked dirt under the filter/ air box seal. I use bio oil so didn't want to use a non bio grease and didn't have any. Ordered a Pro Seal for it from PC Racing but didn't get here in time for the race weekend. (They don't have a pre cut so you have to cut your own). So in the mean time I took a fender washer, bent one side up, drilled a hole in it and bolted it to the air box front mounting hole. Than  slid a zip tie through the drilled hole ,put another zip tie through the first zip tie and went around the top filter post on the cage and tightened it down to seal the filter tighter to the air box. Ended up solving the problem. IMG 20230223 142046339Kind of tricky to explain, will try to post a pic.

Thanks for the tip, I just got my bike and the filter feels kind of loose. The power and power curve is awesome but when I saw the air filter I was like what? I like a bolt holding my filter on I guess I am old school lol. I had a chance to get a 2023 CRF 450 Works Edition and decided to get the YZ because I thought it was a better bike. Damn seat is a torture device, mine only has about 1 hour on it. Just went though the break in period yesterday. Someone want to buy it for 10k? I think I want to go get the Honda.

Has anyone found a comfortable seat for this thing yet? I only have 1 hour on it, hopefully it will be like a MTB seat and my butt will get use to it after a few rides. I think I would love this bike if it the seat was better and the Great Value air filter system doesn't destroy my motor. I am still reading this huge thread sorry if it has been addressed.

The seat absolutely grows on you. First ride I thought the seat sucked. Don't even notice it now. Actually liked how it allowed me to use body English in corners a little easier.

Cool deal, I rode an hour on my break in period mostly dirt roads and grass on the side of the road so my butt was staying in the same place. Thanks for the reply, 100% chance of rain tomorrow Sad I am dying to see how it feels on the track.

With a Twin Air filter and the zip tie mod the filter seals good. I imagine the Twin Air Power Flow kit will address  that once its available? First two times i rode the bike the seat bothered me but hasn't since and i have 22hrs on the bike.

What's the best spanner/shock collar nut wrench or correct size for the 2023 YZ 450f? I guess you can just remove the rear fender and get to it pretty easy? This is my first brand new dirt bike since 1980 and I don't want to mangle it.

Is the 2019 through 2023 the one for the wash cover? The search takes me to a link at Partzilla but the description says it doesn't work for 2023? Thanks.

I would still get one, it makes it easy to keep the airbox clean and keep water out of the intake. I would just call twin air and order one. The customer service is very good

My Enzo suspension review. My biggest complaint about the stock set up was the harshness I was feeling in the front end along with occasional head shake at high speed.  I couldn’t ride 3 laps on this bike, let me start with my weight n ability I’m 46 n ride the 40/A class. What Enzo did, they replaced the stock springs with stiffer springs and change the spring seats in the front forks, and the pressure springs to compensate for the larger spring seats. The shock got a stiffer spring and a lowering plate that lowers the rear of the bike a few mm.   My riding conditions are purely whooped out sand tracks, very few jumps, just nasty whooped out sand.    My first lap on the bike n the Enzo work was completely noticeable! Gone was the busyness of the front end, what was so impressive was how well the wheel tracked, the bike felt so plush n stayed flat n straight threw the nasty sand sections!  I’m blown away on how smooth n plush this suspension is! My first Moto I did 7 laps no arm pump n a huge smile on my face! Enzo did an Amazing job with this bike,I think the total for the revalve n springs and everything inside was $1200, that includes shipping from nj to Texas.

Thanks for the report man, good info. I will eventually get mine done but I want to at least get some hours on the bike first. How much do you weigh and what springs did they use. Thanks.

How larger spring seats are chancing damping or openings are bigger?
