I've always loved his bike skill and abilities on the motorcycle but have always also hated the takeouts and drama.  I hope I don't eat my words saying this but it actually seems like he's changed the last few weeks.  I was completely off the boat by the end of last year but I'm honestly happy for the guy to be turning it around and not having to kill people to put it on the box.

Well , he's definitely kicked it up another notch. He's mentioned a few times that him and the team have the bike working extremely well. Add in the fact that he seems to be a happy family man. Everything seems to be going great , can make you a happy person.  Might overflow into the racing a bit. " Changed "?  Possibly , but he'll always be an aggressive rider. He was just born that way. Some dig it , some don't.

He is working with Sorby and he’s trying to change his racecraft and his overly aggressive style. Maybe that’s the change you’ve seen.

He has said in recent interviews he made the decision to change how aggressive he was and race as clean as he can.

Slammed? No one hit the ground, that was just good hard racing.

Because we have never heard that before? Each season he talks about how he has cleaned up his act..

99% of the racers in the event would disagree with you.

He looks much more muscular this year. Hopefully these race results are from extra off the track training. Just saying.

Are you insinuating what I think you are...?

Of course not. That would be slanderous. I’m just saying he looks way more muscular than in previous years.

Does anyone know if he runs a different set up than the rest of the KTM group suspension wise? Is he on air or spring?

Barcia has always had little streaks of great speed. It only lasts a few rounds though. Will see how long this one goes.

The Barcia we’ve seen the last few rounds is why I’m a fan of his. Unfortunately we don’t get enough of them!

Agree that JB seems to have made a change in his tactics, and I think he’s a much better racer this month. But it’s only been a few races, so..

Nice to see 51 improving his finishes, and riding smarter.
