Prado is having a similar moto 2 as in Argentina. Didn't get the start and he is unable to go from an outside top-5 start to the front of the pack.

I think Watson is riding decent but he is pretty much in the same spot as last year. Bad starts and not enough speed to get through the riders outside the top-10.

My guess is that he could without a doubt finish 10th if he actually starts 10th for once.

Febvre needs to pick up his pace, Herlings and Renoux are turning much faster lap times at the moment.

Herlings is an animal, was in like 15th and carved his way to second. Was amazing to watch.

What's the overall result?

Helings gets the win

Prado 2nd?

Vlaanderen or Glen 3rd?

Another lap and he would have grabbed the win.

Pretty scary improvement from Herlings when you compare his off season races to now already. Good luck to everyone else if he stays healthy.

Before Germany:

Herlings - 371pts - 8 race wins, 4 overalls
Gajser - 370pts - 5 race wins, 3 overalls
Febvre - 367pts - 2 race wins, 1 overall
Prado - 359pts - 2 race wins, 1 overall

Perhaps third best, definitely not second best... and i don't think he ever actually passed Herlings or Gajser in a race all season long (when they weren't on the floor)

To be fair to Prado that moto in Germany he was passed by Herlings and Prado re passed him back and held him off for the win. But for the most part Prado is get the start and block.

If Herlings doesn’t get hurt he will win this title by well over 100 points. Qualifying points are saving Prado right now and the sorry excuse of not knowing what to do without a holeshot was played out years ago. The general race craft from the “title contenders” sans Herlings this year is the poorest that I can remember. Obviously with Gajser out and Herlings not at 100% the field is going nuts and shooting themselves in the foot. They smell blood and the only one taking advantage is Herlings.

To be fair, Prado did get 15 or 16 holeshots last year. So even if he can only win when he gets a start, that’s still potentially a lot of race wins. I do agree that Herlings is the clear favourite though
