We have 9 riders in the top 10 all coming into their 30's.. do these teams think ahead and secure a younger 250 rider moving up or stay with the vets?
do you put these vets on a 1 year only? and try and secure these 250 riders moving up? i dont think we see multi year deals being signed by current 450 riders.
i dont think we have had this type of transition with contracts up and 250 riders wanting to move up in a long time.. So much is going to be going on this silly season

As to your Webb/JMart comparison, there is none. Yes, these guys still have egos, but 19 year old Webb isn't 27 year old Webb. Plus, Eli does his own thing in Colorado and rarely rides at The Goat Farm, so they wouldn't be spending any significant time together.

Yeah they ain't no bitch to be #2 on a team. All of these guys have egos. Big ones. They have to. You are performing in front of thousands of people every weekend and the top guys have to believe they are the best. Man and machine. Believing they have the full attention of the team is part of the equation of having the best machine under them, without a doubt.
