Cleaning up my garage and I found this washer/bushing on my bench. I just rebuilt a 2001 CR250 engine completely. I haven't seen this part until now and hoping it's not something I missed. Any ideas?
Also do you know where this gold bracket goes? I bought the bike half torn apart so it's been fun to piece it together.

The top is a valve shim from a 4 stroke, The bottom might mount behind the front number plate on the head tube to route the cdi wires(?).
Top one is a power band spacer. Required for proper band function, though I’ve heard of guys leaving it out to save weight when running the purple power band.
The bottom one is obviously a hook for storing spare power bands. Hate it when you snap one 20 miles from the truck and have to limp it home.
That makes sense on both accounts. Not sure where that shim came from. Haven't done anything with shim and bucket for quite awhile. My Honda minibikes don't have anything like that. I'll have to think about where it came from. Thanks man!
The gold bracket goes on the top of the center engine cases to hold the transmission next hose. As stated earlier, the small, steel puck is a 4-stroke valve shim.

Good call^^^ I should have realized it didn't mount up front with the 90 degree bolt hole.
That looks like the bracket for the rear master cylinder hose (from reservoir). It mounts on one of the clutch side crankcase cover screws.
