People in here is like: "Deano is such a cool guy, the sport is better with him" while bringing absolutely nothing to make racing better. Barcia, like him or not, makes it entertaining and he is fun to watch, whenever your favorite rider is near him has you on your feet wondering what is going to happen.
It's typical mob mentality..... be "cool", jump on the trash "insert name here" bandwagon.
People gotta have someone to hate.
He's cleaning up his act
I used to watch the NFL when the intent was to injure your opponent especially the quarterback. Bill Romanoski and Singletary ring a bell? Now the NFL has gotten weak in my opinion.
It's a professional sport for Pete's sake. When I race I don't intend on hurting people but I don't mind taking their wheel out and putting you down if your a threat. If not I'll just pass you clean. It's a Gladiator sport. Let's not get to soft here. You should be able to see it coming most of the times. I see or feel it coming.
Saying that I love watching Barcia, Anderson's passion while riding. Let's not put roll cages on dirtbike's with airbags.
Let them race and retaliate.
Just my 2 cents.

The NFL is a complete joke for multiple reasons these days which I won't go into, I stopped watching them years ago.. ...but yeah, its the Nancy Football League now.
Just one more reason I don't care if we "grow" the sport. Look what big money has done to NFL, NBA, MLB, NASCAR, etc etc etc.
Bar bangin is a good thing. This isn't kindergarten "hug your classmate" hour. Money, titles, sponsorships are on the line.
Fast, rides a wide bike, and doesn't give a sh!t what anyone thinks. He also is never hurt and doesn't sit out races. What's not to like?
In my opinion the main issue most have with Barcia is not the aggressive riding but the way he reacts when he is on the receiving end of the same things he dishes out. He’s one of the most aggressive riders on the track but has been known to get real upset when others get aggressive with him.
Plus we got to race 3 times a week and the gate was full for nearly every class. I must say the amount of info and ability to watch live is way better than back in the day.
You just described my early life with motocross. Lived in the Santa Monica mountains... technically, we weren't supposed to ride there, but nobody cared. Police would leave you alone as long as you stayed of the street. Rode out the driveway and off into the hills, where would the day take you? Then you could watch the sun go down from the mountain tops and finally ride home in the fading light. Mom and Dad did not buy my bikes for me...I had to work for my bikes/gear/racing fees/etc...the neighbors paid well for the hard work. Made a killing back then. Kolbe Honda (Ventura BLVD) and International Yamaha (shop on Sherman way) had all the bikes and cool shit. That was late 70's thru mid 80's for me....even after I moved from my parents house I kept my YZ there until 1991 to go for rides after work or weekends.
Today....you'd get arrested and bike impounded in a heartbeat. Everything there is either built up or gated off now. So glad I grew up in the pre-internet/pre cell phone era that I did.
If you're familiar with the SM mountains, you could pinpoint where this was taken....
Impromptu tracks along the fire access roads....
Magoo, that’s what I’m talking about! Great pictures of a great time!
You and Spoonguy get “Es” for effort.
