Barcia showing impressive speed for the last few rounds and now Kenny possibly finding something new. After all his trouble Sexton is only 13 back. Anderson has been MIA but he could step back up at any point. I still think Eli and Coop have an edge but there is a lot of racing to go and no clear favorite. There are only 47 points separating the top 6.
Barcia will go back to being barcia when the normal SX tracks comes back next race. Only did good because of the conditions unless they found something magical with the bike which i have not heard anything about.
Kenny was a positive suprise. But Tomac and Sexton wasn't out-raced, they put themselves in bad spots and someone had to benefit from it.
47 is a lot of points lol. It’s a 3 way battle. Realistically 2, since Chase won’t be able to defeat both Webb and Tomac for the full 17 rounds. But you are correct. Barcia and Roczen, if their speed remains the rest of the season, are going to be major spoilers for sure.
I'd say it's been pretty interesting so far all around for 450 class....but yeah, Barcia coming on and Kens win is cool.
I don't see Anderson back in the picture. Chase....unfortunately he's going to have to push to make gains and pushing it is what's got him on the ground nearly every weekend.
Thankfully the 450 racing has been great because the 250 racing has pretty much blown ass this year.
Agreed that 47 is a lot. I’m not saying they would be championship contenders but their increased speed (including AC9) will make getting a start all that much more important. Already a great season could become epic.

More winners is only good!
Next up: Sexton, Anderson, Barcia…AC?
The more different winners / top 3 at every race is a great thing. I'd like to see 5 , 6 , 7 or 8 guys within 20 points of each other. I want to see it go to the last two rounds or so. I hated seeing Tomac struggle last night , but I don't want to see him run away with it either. Webb , Kenny , Barcia , Anderson....I want to see a mix up every weekend.
Plessinger is improving as well.
