Looks like high tide and you’re in the soft sand.  Man, that’s some hard pedaling!  I’m lazy and only ride the beach at mid-tide or below when I can get in the hard pack.

It's a class 1 pedal assist cheater bike Laughing You have to spin it like a hamster wheel in the sand but it does ok. Goes over cobblestones better than I expected too lol.

I love how the cat walks by in the background... lol.

Sure, I'll open the door. Let me introduce you to mister Ruger. He's a.45 caliber 1911 semi automatic weapon that will make God Damn sure this never happens again! (Said like Sergeant Earmy).

Anything else?

Pretty cool sequence of photos from behind our cabin last night.

A nearby T-storm made for a beautiful sunset, then watched as the fog moved up the valley below, until we were swallowed up. 29850

Hiked up there more times than I can remember.

Favorite route is, brushy mt trail from the other side.

We used to hike up the day after Christmas, no matter the weather, to bring goodies to the winter caretaker.

Fresh fruit, newspapers,  etc...

Photo taken when it was well below zero.

Nice! We were going to take Rainbow Falls, but at the last minute my wife and her friend decided they wanted to do Alum instead. Pretty good day, got to Leconte and within 5min heard thunder. Started raining as we were making our way to Myrtle Point, between the clouds and rain couldn’t get any good pics there. Rained the whole way back down but we had enough tree cover to keep us from getting totally soaked. Had a rain jacket but didn’t feel the need to break it out. It was funny, on the way up we saw some tourists at the cave completely gassed but all excited they finally “made it to the top.” Then I broke the news that they weren’t even halfway to the top. The look on their faces followed by “well we don’t have time for that today” 😂 Then I felt bad for totally breaking their spirit.
