But they didn't race Gajser so there is no way of knowing if they were better than him or not.

3BCD3231-8B2F-4A88-B408-C225EFDB1F9AGnarly race today in Lierop! Alot of things happened. Prado had a big crash and luckily no broken bones, still rode 2nd race. Bogers was leading moto 2 but crashed in the waves. Febvre also had a crash there halfway that moto. Van Doninck was impressive.. Jonass as well. Good racing Smile Geerts was taking it easy or De Wolf was too strong today. Man, would love to see a MXGP again at this place

The FMOTP got lit up in a local British race last weekend. You think he wants to get tuned up by Febvre in his home country?

You think Herlings needs more time in the sand? Especially ahead of a hard pack race next weekend in Argentina

2-2 for aranda in front of some fast young mxgp racer. It's great to see him at this level.

My guy Robert Fobbe made his debut race today at Lierop on a Kawasaki NL 250F, and qualified 9th, 11th in the first moto, but his bike broke in the second.

Not bad for only a couple weeks on the new bike.

He said the track was pretty beat up in the second motos.

If everything lines up, Robert will race selected rounds of AMA 250 MX and MX2 this year.

Exactly! Hey Jeffy aka "TFMOTP" Indianapolis SX Saturday night! Promise the Tonus family won't be there and we'll make sure Huntah! doesn't also beat your azz too. You can back up your big win at the huge local French race and show why you're "TFMOTP!" "What?" "No Jeffy they will not put dirt in between the triples and rhythm sections." "Talk to Roger all you want. It's not happening. We already beat down the whoops for Webb."

I think he scored some points or was close to points in EMX250 at Lommel last year, so he is capable of battling in EMX250. Decent sandrider but he is hurt by the new age limit in emx, he can only do GP's now. Same as Blanken.

Anyone know why Mitch Evans didn’t race these past two weekends?  I believe he was on the pre-race lists for Hawkstone and Lierop.

I think he scored some points or was close to points in EMX250 at Lommel last year, so he is capable of battling in EMX250. Decent sandrider but he is hurt by the new age limit in emx, he can only do GP's now. Same as Blanken.

Yes, Robert and quite a few other Dutchies  like Conjin were aged out of EMX this year.

it’s good and bad.

I look at at it as an opportunity them to race against the premier level guys- the gate for MX2 races will be filled out this year because of the rule change I think.

Problem is that guys like Fobbe are not fast enough for MX2. "Forcing" guys up is fine by me if they can win/podium in emx250. But someone who cant score points in emx250 shouldnt be in mx2.

True - guys need to be fast to even qualify in MX2

Fobbe has been working his ass of training and recovering from a broken back the past year- both in California and at home this past off season, and now has a better bike setup with Harry Nolte.

we will see how well he does in Dutch masters in two weeks.
