The message at the bottom of the Patch article…
"The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office wants to remind citizens of the dangers of illicit narcotics, many of which may contain Fentanyl," Liebrand said. "Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is 100 times stronger than morphine and can cause death or serious bodily harm."
Something that needs to be discussed as much as humanly possible…especially among people like myself that have teen-aged kids. It’s in EVERYTHING nowadays.
Kenny, as others have said,I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m praying this will bring some closure for you and your family
my biggest fear in life is outliving my son. i can not even begin to describe how much this has choked me up reading through the main post and all the replies.
deepest condolences to you and your family.
and i'm so happy to read that there is some justice in this.
I have come to realize that I definitely has a huge loss but there r many others who have suffered far worse than I have. You just need to look at our blessings which I try my best to do. It also became very clear to me after Cam was gone how he truly was not only my son but by far my best friend right up until the day he died. Even during his down times we did so much together and he never lost touch with his family. That is what got this detective to go after the dealer. He told me and my mom he has never seen someone who struggled with drugs like Cam did, be so close with his family. He pretty much went through the last couple years of his phone to find connections to make the arrest and he could see if Cam wasn’t seeking out drugs he was spending the rest of his time with family. I’m sure I don’t need to remind people to appreciate your children for who they are, Cam was far from perfect but I never stopped loving him and keeping faith that one day he would beat his addiction issues. He tried so hard but some people just don’t have it in them to conquer that battle. Anyway I’ll keep you all posted if this arrest goes to trial. Thanks so much for your support

Try and do your best to keep your chin up Kenny. I know those words almost sound like the normal response , but my heart aches for you man. I can't even imagine what you and your family are going through. I hope at the very least , they nail this guy hard. But no matter what they do to him , it'll never replace your son. Stay strong for not only yourself , but everyone around you!
THIS^^^^
I know this isn't the 70's but I would go Mr.Majestyk on the ass-Hats back in the day.
Today?, there is no reasoning with what is happening
Glad you have some comfort in your heart knowing you were a Loving Father that cared tremendously for your Boy.
My heart goes out to you. Have know Idea what you're going through. Please keep reaching out to us , Family and Friends.
So poignant Kenny, you are a good man. Thank you for the reminder to cherish your kids even in challenging times. Sorry for your loss of your little buddy.
Me and my daughter Dayna did a very tough thing today. CBS news San Diego contacted me this morning to see if we would sit down with a reporter to discuss the arrest of Kevin Bryant. The guy came to our house and set up his cameras, lights etc and then proceeded to ask us to tell him about Cam. It was very tough to do but I made it through it okay. I’m not sure how to get the link in here but if anyone wants to see it I think it would be on those website. They actually led off the 6pm news with the story. They r really wanting to get it out there that selling fentanyl is going to he different than other drugs due to it being so lethal.
Thank you all for your support. It means the world to me
I watched the story Kenny. It broke my heart watching that and, had my wife in tears.
Gosh Kenny, as I sit here with tears running down my face I just want to say how good it is that you and your daughter had the courage to do this interview. It WILL save lives.
Kenny, you and your daughter are way stronger than I could ever be. I agree with Str8. It will save lives.
Very good thing you did, Kenny.
Link to video. I feel for you Kenny, I can only imagine the pain you and your family are still dealing with.

Wow man. I can't imagine how tough that had to be.....but also an awesome thing to do for raising awareness.
Fight the good fight!
Hopefully someone will post the vid/link, I'd like to watch it.
EDIT: Thanks for sharing the link Avidchimp. Man, ain't gonna lie, that got me welling up.
Man I'm so sorry Kenny. That video was heartbreaking and made me tear up and at the same time become unbelievably angry. This drug has just began to rear it's ugly head and just going to get worse. Especially with how easy it is to smuggle. Do they even have dogs that can sniff it out? My son just turned 22 and has always led a pretty sheltered life, much different than me. He never partied, drank, or even smoked weed growing up until he was of legal age. My worst fear has always been him getting p whipped off the wrong chick and doing some stupid shit he would never do. Meth and heroin were what always scared me until this came around. It's so bad in Humboldt County where I used to live that you can narcan shots at the Rite Aid. They need to be throwing the book at this dealers big time like other countries do. To many of these cases happening lately. My sincere condolences to you and your family Kenny.
Dang,
Just watched that--very sad...😢
Only good thing is they caught the fucker, hope he gets his ass beat in prison.
Now go get that Dirtbike Kenny--you need it!
I went looking for a bike this week and was shocked at the cost. I have a KTM adventure bike for my road rides so I thought it would be good to stay with the brand. NCY has most of the models marked up with an additional $1,500 + “dealer mark up fee”. I just can’t handle that so now I’m trying to find a used bike. I’m pretty sure I’d be happy with any brand, I am not in it to win vet races, I just want it for the riding pleasure. Still not sure on what to get but I’m leaning towards a 250F. I want to be safe and not have too much motor since it’s been so long since I’ve ridden on tracks. I’ll keep you posted. Thanks Gman
The 350 is a 250 with longer legs and REALLY pays off on the trail/off-road.
Let me know what ya want and we’ll find one for a good deal. I may have to bring it down from NorCal for ya…but, we can surely save A LOT of $$$

Pit Row
My god Manny that is so nice of you. Would you mind contacting me via email and I can communicate with you there so I don’t clog up this forum any more than I already have.
Thank you so very much!
Dude, you are not clogging up this forum, you dealt with and are dealing with the worst any of us could ever imagine. Keep on keeping on and any of us will help anyway we can.
Kenny I second what Avid says. Many of us talk outside this forum. At times, this is just a place for us to all check in with one another.
I third that with what Avid and Chance both said. Don't ever think that a thread like this would clog up a forum. Everything we dumbshits argue about on this board , gets shoved aside when something like this happens. Get a hold of Manny when it's time....he is good peeps and will have just about anyone's back on here , because that's the type of dude he is. P.s. Kenny.....hope to hear you getting a new bike and getting back out there to have some fun.
Sorry for your loss, made my day, hearing of his capture...
Kenny
Not sure if you remember but I DM'd you shortly after Cam's passing. We were good buddies for several years when we both lived down in San Diego. Just a couple young dudes in their 20s trying to navigate life and have some fun. We both got started working in the industry about the same time. I got to know Dayna very well too and I saw her post on FB about the news story. So happy to see this outcome and that another lowlife drug dealer scum is off the streets. I know it doesn't ease your pain but thank you for sharing Cam's story on here. I think I have some pictures of me and Cam from back in the day, I'll dig through some old boxes where I have photos from that era to see if I can find them
I would love to see any pics you may have. Thank you so much for your kind words
Kenny,
email sent.
Thar news report is hard to watch, I'm very sorry for your loss. My family had a similarbsituation happen and the affects it has on everyone cannot be over stated.
So nice to see you Socal guys rallying to help out.
Just wanted to let you guys know an update on the guy in custody. A couple of weeks ago he has had another charge of second degree murder added. This one would be separate from the first degree they had originally arrested him on. The DA has been in contact with me to let me know when I should show up in court, he told me most of these preliminary proceedings would be a waste of time to attend. He did say they are continuing to investigate and gather evidence so I’m assuming he has been tied to another death. The guy is still locked up and bail has not been reduced from $1,000,000. He obviously doesn’t force people to take drugs and that does offer mixed emotions for me, but he also has no regard for human life if he hands it to the addicts and accepts money even though he knows it can kill them. I’m glad he’s in jail, not too sure what I want the outcome to be. I guess my biggest hope is others see what can happen if you sell/take fentanyl. Thank you all for being good guys who I can share my life with. I so appreciate each and every one of you. Moto people are the best
"He obviously doesn’t force people to take drugs and that does offer mixed emotions for me,"
Don't let yourself get hung up on that. They DO force people to take the drugs. They slowly get them addicted to their product by selling them smaller amounts at a reduced cost to create a long term customer. "Here let me front you some." Do not be conflicted on this, yes Cam could have made different decisions a some point, but the dealers get them to a point that they can't make different decisions. Cam was well past being able to make his own decisions. This is ALL on the dealer.
Sorry if this seems callous, I just don't want you to have ANY empathy for the scumbag dealer.
TM
I appreciate that and you are spot on 👍
Post a reply to: They arrested my sons dealer 👍
