Hey hey now, most fishing guides that catch bait with a cast net at 5am use the original crocs because the water and scales flow through like no other shoes and there is traction in the slime. Plus standing in water most of the day with sharp objects. They are a tool like the net itself and the first time i saw them was at a fishing expo. So I never understood the croc reference because the only people I have ever seen wear crocs here in Florida are the exact opposite of what is said here. Disney turned the shoes gay when they came out with all the dumb accessories that hook on to them... that I once had 6 of myself. ...oh shit. Lol

I wore surf surf flip flops from 6th grade to 20 every day. My dad still wears the same flops. Work boots or flops and you northerners might not understand but I have not worn long pants except moto in probably 10 years and only funerals, most weddings or the pro bass circuits and only a handful of times in 30 years atleast. Lol

The number of people that have paid me to take them hiking in the woods and show up in crocs may surprise you, but probably not. I just looked at them and said you're wearing the wrong shoes. Take care of your feet, you gotta use them everyday.
I also rarely wear short pants when not exercising.
I'm not made for Florida, I get annoyed when it's over 80 degrees (or 90 in the desert).
