Man, what a bummer.  Tim sure seems like a good dude and couldn't have been nicer to my 3 boys when we met him at Monster Energy Cup in 2019.  Hope for a quick recovery.

He's an awesome dude...  Met him at WW Ranch.  My favorite GP rider.

Bad news - hope for a 100% recovery.

One time I was at a track I had never raced before, took the practice sessions seriously and felt like I had a handle on things, however when the gate dropped the throttle took over and I over jumped a shorter single and realized it as soon as I had eyes over the lip.  In my mind I feel like I looked like TG in this video - wasn't nearly as high or long but there was a yard sale at the end.

Gutted for Tim, he has an amazing ability to survive but that one finally got him. Hope he recovers well.

We are now 1 Herlings tip-over from a great title fight between Renaux, Seewer, Prado, Jonass and maybe Febvre.

Not every broken femur requires a heli ride.

Every one that I have seen there has been a chopper involved. Worst helicopter ride you'll ever take, cannot even see out the windows.

I broke my femur and didn’t get a heli ride. Just a regular ambulance. Mine wasn’t a compound fracture tho.

Shattered acetabulum, compound distal femur, ruptured bladder, two broke ribs.

I got a bumpy as fuck, back a 4 wheeler,  on a hard strecther to  then transfer to a regular ambulance ride to er.

Then later another 2 hour ambo ride to bigger hospital. Inclement weather on the 2nd part was the excuse. I was supposed to fly.

That was a rough fucking day. Met my 10 several times that day/night. (1-10 pain scale reference).

If they put rod in and he brokes it again it will be career over. Herlings came to race with broken femur and it didnt end well.

Maybe HRC will send him over here to compete with Sexton this summer so they don't hand a #1 plate to KTM for next year? lol

This is the second time a pre season race has taken Tim out of the real deal in six years. Enough with the pre season rounds. It’s a very long season. They are not needed.
