No SPY+ Roll-Offs?

Was reading the post about “green” tear-offs and went to look up the roll-off kit for SPY+… nothing! They completely wiped out the accessories page with roll-offs, tear-offs, and anything short of lenses. Really strange.

Something weird going on with spy the last few years. Barely hanging on

Spy went live with a new web site a week or so ago and they’ve been having problems with it. Just at the end of last week they got the moto goggle part fixed.

I don't think I've even seen a pair of spy goggles in more than a decade.  Not sure how they are holding on.

Haven't seen them for sale or noticed them on any pro's or even folks at the track in god knows how long...

It's good to hear they're still about, but sounds like they need to take some steps. Hopefully the new website is part of that process.

McGrath and Axel Hodges still run Spys strong.  They’re not big names at all.

Clearly big names, but clearly people out there aren't seeing the Spy exposure.

Most of the time I see McGrath it's either in those Science of Supercross clips or watching old footage, and while I have nothing against Axell Hodges I can't say I've watched anything with him in since that little Monster vid with the trophy truck a good while back.

We're seeing SPY less and less these days but yet they still make quality product. I dunno... To me thats a positive and makes me more interested in them. At least thats one thing to have and stand out from the crowd a little.

Things seem so cookie cutter the same with no variety.

I’ve seen them of course, I meant out in the wild. I’m assuming they are selling direct to some of the dot com guys but I haven’t seen any in stores for forever. I still see a few of their cases though from 20 years ago with other brands I’d stuff in them but that’s it.

I think they are more prevalent in the winter sports arena?

I just bought a few sets to try for 2023. Their rider support program is pretty nice and their latest MX goggle has pretty solid reviews. Haven't rode with them yet but they seem very well made.

I think they sold out a long time ago, maybe he negotiated a lifetime sponsorship deal?  Spy has changed hands a couple of times and is owned by Bolle now.

To be honest I don't think they market there mx series very well.

I love there sunglasses (have 5 sets) I also use their googles for skiing (have 3 sets) but have never even thought about trying their mx googles. I instantly go to 100% because they are so good at marketing that's what everyone wants as 75% of the pros where them.

Nope, you can go very long periods without seeing spy goggles on the snow..

They have a outdated vibe to me but I have a pair of their sunglasses and they are legit.

I wear Spy goggles and sunglasses. Love 'em. I think they are finding more exposure in snow and casual now, but their Foundation goggle is awesome.

Spy suffered from a lot of counterfeit stuff 5-10 years ago and it ruined their revenue, their reputation (poor quality fakes), and their market share. Love the company and hope it can come back strong
